Emily and Daisy Hardcover – Picture Book, March 15, 2009

Book is nice. My copy has printing errors- two blank pages which it is obvious there should be text in one case and the illustration in the other. I've asked for a replacement and will update if the new copy is intact. UPDATE: New copy arrived and is in perfect condition. No problems whatsoever with replacing it!

This book does not deserve the bad reviews! It is a great story- just as good as all the other Elsa books we have. I found no translation problems at all. My daughter loved it and asks to read it all the time. I can't imagine someone NOT loving this story!

We love Elsa Beskow, and I feel that this is one of her best! Emily and Daisy is such a sweet story, where the child gets to be the hero- and not in a disobedient or sassy way (as in so many kid's stories). This book is charming and sweet, and highly recommended!

My grandson and I have read this book at least a thousand times! He loves it. The illustrations are beautiful. Just a simple story about a child trying to help and of course getting distracted along the way!

Charming book with lovely illustrations. The story has a bit more whimsy than say Pelle's New Suit (my favorite Beskow) but isn't as whimsical as say Peter in Blueberry Land. Just a little bit of imaginary/magic.

We used this classic in our spring unit this April. We read it every night to the kids. It is so gentle, fun, and sweet. I love all of EB books!

This is our new favorite Elsa Beskow book. We own Curious Fish, Sun Egg, and a few more, but my toddler always brings this one to me to read.

We love everything from Elsa Beskow! This one did not disappoint. Fun to read and beautifully illustrated.
