Something to be proud of
I am impressed with the QUALITY, the precision and the careful thoughtfulness the went into producing this very useful carry rack.I installed it on my bicycle two days ago. It took a while, mainly because I mounted it using the adapter plate that can be used to raise the rack 1or 2 inches, and puts the rack forward maybe 3/4 inch. The result wasn't satisfactory. It seemed too high and too far to the front. With all fasteners tightened it was a bit wobbly, not good.So I took off the adapter plate and reinstalled the rack directly in contact with the mounting surface at the top of the fork. How my initial disappointment evaporated! Now it sits nicely over the wheel and not too high. Even more gratifying is that it's now solid as a rock. Nothing rickety about it!I couldn't be more pleased. Initially, I feared the folding wings might rattle in the collapsed position. Not so. On yesterday's long quiet country ride, it was totally silent. I love the way the wings lock into the flat position, very precise, tight engagement. When folding them down, a gentle resistance is felt. Folded fully, the wings almost touch the extendable mounting rods, BUT NOT QUITE.I would say this rack is perfectly designed and built with a minor exception: it is a bit difficult to tighten the extended support rods sufficiently. That could stand improvement. I am 99.999 percent totally happy with this very very useful versatile product. Worth the money for sure. Finally, I would recommend NOT using the adapter unless for some reason it must be used. This is an outstanding piece of bike gear and if I ever need another front rack, this will be my first choice. It fits the bill!( It dawned on me that the adapter bracket would need to be used if your bike has rim brakes. Mine has disc brakes. So I don't know, the adapter plate might work well with rim brakes.)

BROKEN IN ONLY TWO DAYS !! Aluminium of a very bad quality.
The media could not be loaded. The front rack broken after two days of use, the hook to the fork broke and the rack went against my front wheel suddenly while I was cycling causing an accident. I only carried a simple bag of 2.5 kg (the rack is announced that support 10 kg). It is made of aluminium of a very very bad quality, I have been used a lot of racks of Topeak and Zefal brands during several years, none of them broke like that and with only two days of use. Since it is a front rack and any failure of the rack can provoke a severe accident or injury with your bike I strongly recommend don't buy this product. Moreover of this, screws are of a bad quality steel and you can see for somewhere the defaulty weldings in the rack. Never more a rack of this brand Vincita. I am going to return it and claim for a refund. I will update this review according to the answer received by Amazon and the seller.UPDATE: I received a good answer of the seller, Vincita, and at the end the refund of the product. No the same with Amazon, that didn't want to refund me the article and continously told my lies. Besides they promised the return of the shipping costs to Europe, (I paid about 64$ more for shipping costs over the normal price of the rack 70$, in total I paid 144$), but I never received this money.

Very clever design, the rack is both versatile and sturdy.
The rack is top notch - clever design, flawless execution, attention to details. Fork mounting part, when tightened to the fork, makes the rack perfectly parallel to the ground and takes the guesswork out of figuring the lenght of the supporting legs. The "wings" when up make this rack surface very large. The release buttons are even colored red, a nice touch, and everything fits great. Very happy with the purchase. I wish it also featured a spring holding bracket to retain the cargo, but that is not a necessity per say -- bungee cords work equally well.

Great rack - just ok instructions
this rack has been everything I wanted. sturdy, flexible and good looking. Front install wasn't as easy as I hoped for and the spotty instructions sure didn't help much. I was able to figure it out, but it took a bit of time. But now that it is on I'm super pleased.

Great once you get it mounted
The rack is sturdy, substantial and the mechanics of the wings opening and closing is good. However, the support arms were too long for proper fitting to the fork on my Specialized frame. I had to use a 3/4" spacer in addition to the auxiliary mounting bracket included to extend the rack mount point further out from the fork.Even then the surface of the rack is still not parallel to the ground due to the length of the arms. I have not loaded it up and rode with it loaded yet.

Rack is nice but hardware is not.
The bolts(3 total) that come with the rack are either way to long and the one long thru bolt just barely holds. No washers are included.Rack has many nicks and scratches due to poor packaging.

So far, so good...
With the little info that was available, I was skeptical of it fitting my bike. It’s specialized mounting restricts what bike you add it too. Be sure to view how it is mounted in pictures or diagrams that you can find. Their customer service was helpful and even provided a secondary method of mounting. It’s seems sturdy enough and I have utilized it several times. The hardware is a little too light especially the lock nuts., which I have replaced on center mount. The main advantage in having the rack in the front is it does not interfere with me mounting and unmounting the bike. It’s heavy but does interfere with steering. I would recommend, however, a robust kickstand, preferably a double leg style. I would give it 5 stars but it’s still early. Otherwise, if you like its concept and looks like it will work, don’t let fear hold you back.

Disappointed
Doesn’t even come with enough hardware to install. Rods too long to secure where cables go. Rods don’t clear to secure at wheels.
