Switch Geinsteller JAGWIRE Inline Adjusters

I am very to have discovered this in-line cable adjustment. When installing I think it is best to also put in a new cable, but otherwise this is very easy to install in a number of locations and provides a way to tweak perfect shifting on the go.

Works as advertised. Simple matte black works with any color cables. Easy to work with and high quality as with all other Jagwire products.

I improved my FD adjustment with this piece. It was a pain to perfectly tune the gears avoidung the chain rubbing the fd cage when in the highest gear. Now i adjust as usual and at the end, i just have to counter clock screw the little device a turn or so and its done. Smooth and noisyless shiftting

These barrel adjusters come with no installation instructions. While there are some adequate videos on YouTube for the in line adjusters, Jagwire includes a couple of items that have ferrules attached at either end, but there is no indication of how these are to be used. Not only does the packaging contain ZERO instructions, its website has no indication that these come with the barrels, nor, for that matter, does the Amazon product description mention them. These are rigid little tubes (see accompanying photo) with ferrules that are bonded to either end of the tube. Clearly, the cable goes through these things, but no clue on how. The barrels seem to be of good quality, however there is no indication as to whether any ferrules are to be used, and, if so, it would have been a better idea to include the ferrules rather than the mystery items included in the package. Anybody know what these are and how they should be used??

I would just like to point out that the short sections of cable housing don't have to limit the location of where you can install these.Those short housings are designed to mount on the side of older shifters, where the cable exits.You can actually install these adjusters anywhere along the cable path, just pull off the end caps off those short housings and use them to put on the end of your cut housing where ever you want to install these adjusters. These adjusters are a few bucks cheaper than the 'Pro" inline adjusters, and will work just as well for this amateur.

Un po' costosi rispetto ad altri marchi, ma la qualità è indubbia. Li ho utilizzati per regolare il tiro del cavo del comando remote della forcella e dell'ammortizzatore della mia mtb bi-ammortizzata.Non perdono la regolazione e nonostante fango e acqua proteggono bene il cavo.

Era lo que andaba buscando porque me extrañaba que no pudiera regular el cambio de platos más que tensando con el alicate el cable. Cuando partí la funda e intercala el regulador pensé que había metido la pata porque la funda tendía a hacerse ángulos y a no permitir un buen recorrido al cable. Fue cuestión de domar un poco los dos trozos de funda y listo.

Schön und gut, wie von Jagwire gewohnt. Besonders kleine, kompakte Bauweise. Schnell geliefert, bin restlos zufrieden.Vorsocht! Für Bremszug!

I was struggling to get the indexing right on my Shimano Ultegra groupset because my frame has internal cabling and therefore didn't have any barrel adjusters. These are perfect for resolving that. They're easy to fit (mine slot into the top frame cable insert, but I've seen others that have them in the middle of the cable) and they work perfectly, sorting out the indexing in no time.
