Ambunu Leaves (50 grams)

This thing is amazing! I decided to purchase ambunu after watching some YouTube videos on how to take care of black natural hair. I am happy I did. It works great as a shampoo. Just put 1 tablespoon of ambunu with 2 cups of hot water and let it sit for at least 10 minutes. Strain it with a cloth to keep the leaves out. Be sure to really squeeze it to get all to gooey part out. The gooey part is what you REALLY want because this is what will give you lather when you use it to wash your hair. It works and it is totally natural. Can’t get better than that. You can also make ambunu water and just spray your hair with it to refresh your curls. It is up to you. Some people like to make ambunu gel. They say the hold is pretty good and makes your hair super shiny, There are many ways to use it. Google can give you many suggestions on that. Give it a try. Totally worth it. One tiny bit goes a long way.

I used this product so my hair would stop breaking off and reach a longer length. After I used it just one time, my hair was so soft and I lost so few hairs in the comb that I could count them. The second time I used it, my hair is so soft it almost does not hold a braid. I love it especially when my hair is wet and I have a lot of small twist and braids. I highly recommend this product for people who want softer hair and want to reduce hair loss.

I like how soft this product has my hair before and after I wash it. I will reorder this again.

Yes it totally works. Due to a number of things, laziness, depression you name it I had not combed my hair in about two months. It was matted and water couldn’t even get through to my scalp. I was going to follow the directions but there’s a video on here that explains how to make it for your hair and I did that and I was able to get through all of my hair in less than an hour. Without damage. It definitely works and I do recommend.

So, I brought this product to test it out. I have been using it for a week and I am in shock. The first time I used it I used it to take my braids out. It worked perfectly. Then, I used it as a conditioner. It worked really well for that also. Now, I am testing it as a leave in conditioner and so far my hair is still very soft. Will do an update in a month. Ok. Update:This is an amazing product. I will be purchasing it again.

This becomes a light gel although I didn’t do the Chad-ian massage that apparently really thickens it up. I put it in my daughter’s usually kinky hair as a rinse. It is fantastic. Post wash combing = 15 min. Joyful & excellent. It’s really stressful w/the flinching & tears. That’s not there anymore. This stuff works. Thank you for this awesome product. Super fun to think of its connection to Africa. Makes sense that it’s a missing beauty secret.

Maybe I didn't use enough but I didn't feel the slip that utubers experienced.

I purchased the 20g to try first. After watching a couple of videos I did the equal parts water:leaf ratio instead. I poured boiling hot water on the leaves. After about 15 minutes squished the leaves gently and let it sit for an hour. Strained it.. It worked out perfect. Great slip. I was shocked how easy I combed through my hair.
