ClairolRoot Touch-Up by Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Dye, 8R Reddish Copper Blonde Hair Color, 2 Count

I agree with so many that this is a great product for strawberry blondes, but for some reason Clairol has discontinued it. Yes, we are buying "what's left" on Amazon or ebay, and that's almost gone too. So I wrote to Clairol (parent co. Wella), and begged them to bring it back. The Clairol 8R "full coverage" is closest, but I complained that I don't need an entire large bottle of it; it's wasteful and not good for the environment anyway, so why use more than you need? Leftover must be discarded. So maybe if we all write to Clairol they might bring back the 8R root touch-up product. Cheers!

I have been using this product for several years now and love the ease, speed, and results. I have been struggling recently as I have been shifting to a lighter, softer red color because the existing red shades (6R, 6RR) were just too dark on my roots to make a nice transition. 8R is the color I've been waiting for - it's fantastic. I will note it does not entirely eliminate whites. However, now my roots look like I'm a natural strawberry blonde with a few strands of bright white, versus a poor soul with dishwater grey and white roots poking out.

At last! A product that perfectly touches up roots on strawberry blonde hair. For whatever reason, this shade is not available in most stores, so it is wonderful that it is available on Amazon. If your hair is strawberry blonde or light red and you want to get rid of gray or dark roots in only ten minutes, definitely buy this. It is so hard to find products for red hair. Thank you, Clairol for coming out with this and Amazon for selling it! PS PLEASE do not discontinue this product.

Finally found a root coverup that is perfect. Hard to find this or any shade of a strawberry copper blonde. Never in stores

I bought this to try since I couldn't go to the salon to get my hair done. It was very easy to use and covered my grey hair very well. It didn't harm my hair and comes in a variety of colors. Recommend a shade lighter than your normal color to give a highlight effect. Lasts about 4 weeks on my hair.

I added half of this tube to 1 whole tube of dark blonde to get red highlights. I'm pleased with the results. Would like to use this color by itself, but it is not dark enough to cover all grey hair.

When I went to use, product did not look normal, it seemed old. Ended up throwing away.

Not sure how long these had been kicking around in the manufacturers warehouse but the packaging was faded and beat up. The product inside is great and works fine but it does make me a bit concerned for how long they have been sitting around prior to making there way to me.
