I'm a Believer!
I want to preface this by saying I was never into the idea of reusable diapering. I understand the benefits, but I didn’t think cloth diapering would work for me.Enter the SmartNappy. I have never even seen a hybrid diaper before, but I received some strong encouragement from a good friend, and I decided to pick one up. Now I’m a believer! I predict this product will completely change the diapering landscape! The design is adorable and it looks much better than any disposable. The sling inside the diaper can fit both the disposable and reusable inserts, though I found for my situation the disposable ones were the ideal fit. There’s absolutely no leaks! No wet sheets, no upset baby in the night, no damp cover! During a change, you may have to wipe the sling itself, but nothing leaks. I actually bought this with the specific intention of switching to the reusable inserts to make sort of a hybrid pull-up / training underwear for when we start potty training, and I think that this product will be perfect for the task, offering the same security as a regular diaper while allowing my daughter to get a feel for real underwear. If you’re someone who’s curious about reusable diapering but not quite ready to go all in, or a long time eco-mom who wants to try a truly 21st Century solution to an age-old problem, or if your child is nearing the point of potty training, or maybe you’re like me and you want something that’s a cut above a regular disposable in form and function. This. Is. Your. Product. Your child deserves the best, and the SmartNappy is definitively the best of both worlds.

Like potato chips, you can’t have just one!
This is our 5th diaper from this company! We absolutely love them. They’re easy to use, wash, and dry. I love these because you can use their inserts or another kind that you already have! Also, their patterns/color are more my style, so they match my kid’s clothes better than other brands we own!You will love these diapers! I highly recommend.

Actually really like these
This is my first time trying cloth diapers and I actually really like these! I put them on my 17 month old girl and she doesn’t mind them. She’s actually less likely to take these off than her diapers.I like the velcro closure because it makes diaper changes easier. I don’t mind buying the different sizes since I don’t have to deal with snaps. The price is affordable. The design is neutral and not some ridiculous pattern. The pad itself is very absorbing and good at wicking away moisture. It washes and dries well. I’m sure they’ll raise prices once people start catching on haha.

We LOVE these diapers!
These reusable diapers are so cute! We love the prints and they coordinate nicely with other Amazing Baby products. Changing the inserts is fast and simple. Highly recommend these diapers!

Love the Reusability
I am a cloth diaper-er --fan of pocket diapers (I've tried AIOs and don't like them). Figured I'd mix in a hybrid to see what I thought of these too...PROS:1. Reusable cover means less laundry. It's nice to only have inserts pile up over a day vs both inserts+covers.2. I use reusable inserts (sometimes with disposable liners), but a bonus is if you aren't all sure about cloth diapering this lets you test the waters and use disposable inserts. This seems like a great "intro to cloth diapering" option to start to see if you're up for it.3. I love love love the fact that the weight range is right on the diaper. I have a few fuzzibunz that say "small" "medium" "large" but I have no idea what weight that equates to so there is always some guesswork if I'm still using the correct size. (I also have bumgenius and alva baby one-size diapers which are easy to just adjust around my baby as I go, though I have no idea what suggested weight ranges each button setting is.)4. The hook-and-loop closure is strong. (I'll know in time if this holds up but so far so good. A common issue I have is lint sticking on to the velcro-y part and it starting to peel back. No such issues so far but so far I've given this diaper significantly less use than my others.)CONS:1. The elastic band near the insert can get wet - reducing the reusability.2. The insert section is too small to readily fit my other cloth diaper inserts. I shoved them in there and they work, just are a little bunched. I'd like it better if they had more room. ...I have to use my smallest inserts because the largest ones don't fit without finagling.CONSIDERATIONS:1. I like to "size up" my kid so diapers aren't snug. My babes have barely gotten diaper rash since diapers aren't snug on them. Sometimes they get wet outfits, but that's rare and a good trade off IMHO. These size 3s are good for my 18ish-lb babe but already a little more snug than I like. ...But I think for most people you'll like the sizing. I just prefer loose.2. If you have a supply of other brand inserts you may struggle to fit those into this diaper as the insert section is smaller than a pocket diaper's. Since I have a mix of brands I just pick the smallest ones and can get those in without too much bunching. (inserts for bumgenius, fuzzibunz, alva baby)3. Must buy multiple sizes. I lean towards the one-size since I can buy "one-and-done". Though different sizes do have their advantages (mainly: less bulk on a small baby; removing guesswork out of sizing).4. The main insert is a tri-fold -- great for holding wetness but I air-dry my inserts and so it takes up a lot of clothes drying rack space.5. I haven't tried using this at night. I have a heavy wetter and so I just size up my disposables for nighttime to avoid the whole "wake in the middle of the night cuz my diaper is full" issue (this was learned from trying to cloth diaper overnight). ...Though I haven't tried it, I don't think the booster will provide enough support for my needs. (But maybe it will work for you.)All-in-all I'm pleasantly surprised with this diaper and the hybrid-system. I was a little weary of giving it a try, but I am glad I did. When I'm not feeling up for doing loads of laundry the SmartNappy will definitely reduce that burden.

Very absorbent, easy to use, and no snaps/buttons to scratch baby
Loved these! We have purchased size 1, 2 , and 3 so far along with spraypal and feel this is more convenient than buying diapers. We have 8 pairs of smart nappy size 2 with 6 backups in moma koala universal size and do a load of laundry daily just to use smart nappy. In size 1, I was able to replace inserts without having to wash the cover... size 2 we have been needing to wash cover after every use. Definitely recommend these! Not only are we saving money but also cutting our carbon footprint!
