The one inch binder has stood up for me for years. I just bought one of these for my son as well. It's nice to have the pockets and especially the notepad in the back. I use this for taking notes and keeping them in the three ring binder with dividers. I purchased the one with faux leather, and stickers stay on it nicely. Love this binder.

Last year I had a school notebook sized planner and it really helped me out. So I decided to go for a refillable planner this year. I am happy that I went with a smaller size. I am just needing to adjust to writing around the rings or taking the page out to write in my note. The pockets are what surprised me the most. The ones on the sides are really deep so I don't see having any trouble keeping important documents with me even if I need to fold them. The white paper sticking out of the top is a legal size envelope in the back pocket. Love this planner cover! It's super soft and feels so good just to hold. Definitely holds a lot of pages, I wouldn't be surprised if it can actually hold more than 100-120. Magnet is strong on the front, as well. The covers on the inside are a bit stiff but I chalk that up to minimal use - I'm sure with more daily use, those inside covers will loosen up in no time. Plenty of room for small pages, sticker sheets, or even adhesive pockets to keep sticky notes.

Bought this for wedding planning, but it's such a joy to use I'm thinking of getting another for other projects. Looks great, feels good in the hand, has an optimal internal layout, and still remains relatively slim and comfortably light and portable even as I jam more and more in there.
