Great quality and quantity for the price
Don't try to pull it apart while it's still dry, you'll be disappointed. Just get it wet, let it expand overnight, and the next day you can spread it out to dry. It's beautiful substrate when mixed with premium top soil for my Russian Tortoise. I'm very satisfied with the amount and quality for the price.

No more back aches!
This product is so convenient. I no longer have to buy and carry heavy bags of soil to my gardens and my plants are thriving, so far in it.

Way too much back breaking work
Expensive compared to straw that has been filtered for weed seed. Alot of work mixing up a bulk block. I like peatmoss cause the color change shows water needing. But this stuff tries to wash away and takes alot of work to reconstitute it. And adding too much water is just as bad. I used a peatmoss spreader for my lawn and over the seed. Too much work.

Worked for what it was intended for.
Good stuff! I think it’s cheaper in-store by almost half. There’s no stores near by my residence so it was worth the extra money to not have to travel to get it.

Very satisfied
Love this product!! Well worth the price.

Don’t bother.
This product is still in its compressed form, so I cannot speak to its functionality. However, the photos for the item are incredibly deceptive. I would return these blocks if I didn’t believe it would to be more hassle than it is worth. Each block is not individually wrapped to ensure the continuity of the compressed blocks. They came inside a box with zero internal packaging and that was heavily damaged; the blocks were breaking apart inside the box. I wanted blocks that were individually wrapped to ensure they remained compressed and whole until I was ready to use, which would also mean easier to store and easier to move around when I was ready. That’s what the product photos led me to believe. Nope. Made a complete mess on my front porch. Thankfully I had some large, thick, plastic bags that I could put the blocks into to move into my greenhouse for storage (photo with the blocks in wrapping is what I did).Because that wasn’t bad enough, the blocks are not all the same size. Two of them are significantly thinner than the other two. Hard to know if it’s because they broke down inside the box during shipping or if there’s a quality control issue.I have used other coco coir blocks from different companies where the coco coir is finely shredded, ensuring you’re getting clean, pure, and easy to use coir, especially for uses like patio and indoor pots. While trying to clean up the mess left behind, I noticed these are not finely shredded coco coir blocks. There are long, thick fibrous strands of coir and chunks. Hopefully it won’t be a big deal when I do use them.Verdict: I will never buy these again. I would rather spend $20 more with a different company to ensure I’m getting what the company claims I’m going to get for the price I paid than deal with this mess again.
