Got a free sample bag of the shreds at Safeway. This totally tastes like real cheese! I never thought i would find a fake cheese that i like, but this is it! No funny taste or texture. It 100% tastes like real cheese!

Tastes good but does not melt nearly as easily as it claims. Melts ok on the stove for quesadillas. Very difficult to make nachos in oven. Charred before it melted even on low heat. Doesn't melt easily in microwave either.

This is by far the best dairy-free cheese I have found. We used it to make grits last night and took a little stirring but TOTALLY melted. Then today we put it over nachos and not only does it melt but it crisps and browns. Acts just like dairy cheddar but just needs a little extra time. Good favor, great consistency, very very happy to have found it - this will be our number one going forward. Should have bought more bags...
