Porsche 944: All Models 1982 to 1991 (The Essential Buyer's Guide) Paperback – February 25, 2020

I bought this book after I bought my car so let's just say I lucked out, considering my ignorance. Had I used the book during the shopping process I still would have bought my 944, but that would have been all luck. After reading the book I realized my car could have had about 60 or more things wrong with it, some BIG, some small but since I didn't even know what to look for, like I said, I lucked out. The reason I bought the book is because I wanted to be able to stay ahead on the maintenance front. And thus far, it's helped me recognize...lets just say I feel very in-tune and aware of my surroundings when I'm driving. I know the difference between the engine and transmission sounds, etc. The other thing I wanted to say is that the book is packed with easy to understand well explained information. For me I think this book will be indispensable.

.This series of Essential Buyers Guides is a must have buy for serious Porsche owners; specifically and especially if you are in the market and looking for a 944.Read the book, it tells you what to look for, how to assess your purchase, or intended purchase, and doesn't try to put you off by telling you what could go wrong and what to watch out for! Useful size fits into the driver's log book pouch, so keep it with you in the car for ease of reference.

This book, at least mine, was cheaply bound and quickly started to, literally, fall apart.Information was good but quality of the binding very poor!

A handy little book with some key information regarding the issues to consider before buying a 944. In my opinion this book needs to be used in conjunction with other sources to really cover all of the issues/differences etc

Very small and shallow look at the 944. It’s unlikely you’ll find anything in this book you already didn’t know.
