Comply Memory Foam Replacement Ear Tips, Black, Medium (3 Pairs)

I’ve always been underwhelmed by the fit and sound of my 1st gen AirPods Pro. No matter which of the flimsy rubber OEM tips I tried, they’d tend to not fit well and fall out of my ears with anything other than slight movement. I found myself using those rubber straps to tether them together around my neck to catch them when one or both eventually just decided to fall out. My daughter has the same problem and has refused to buy AirPods after being disappointed with mine. I ran across these when looking for something else, and thought I’d give them a try. All I can say is WOW! What a difference! The memory foam feels similar to those foam earplugs and fit much more comfortably and snugly in my ears than the OEM tips. This much better fit and seal keeps the sound inside your ear and directed to where it should go. Bass is much improved and they sound as if they’re louder as well. Lack of volume has always been a complaint of mine since I like to use them when mowing, etc. A cheap $30 pair of Bluetooth headphones I had before buying AirPods were louder and fit better than these with the OEM tips. Overall, these tips have greatly improved the performance and my overall enjoyment of my AirPods. Are they a bit expensive for some foam tips? Maybe, but they certainly do their job and make the best of your investment in AirPods Pro. My daughter saw the blue tips and was curious so she tried them for a few minutes, smiled and then said “I think I might borrow these for a while” - as teenagers tend to do when they’re commandeering dad’s things, so it seems that they significantly improve the AirPods experience for her as well. Highly recommended if you are less than thrilled with the fit of your AirPods Pro.

I purchased these for my new AirPod Pros that I bought recently, as the tips that come with the AirPod Pros are straight crap, and regardless what size tips I attach to them, they always slide out of my ear canal or just fall out completely. So I then purchased a set of Proof Labs AirPods Pro Ear Hooks for them and they helped, except that 1.) This gives me something else I have to carry with me, because the AirPods don't charge with the hooks on. And 2.) I still wasn't able to utilize the noise-cancelling feature for very long as the Apple tips would still slide out of my ear. The hooks merely kept them from falling out completely. So now that brings me to these Comply Foam Apple AirPods Pro 2.0 Earbud Tips. I have read that the quality of these tips can be less than nominal at times, coming apart especially when removing them. So far I've gone through all the sizes, on and off, and I haven't had any quality issues. Included with the package is a brief instruction on how to take them on and off, so I try to follow that as close as possible so I can reduce any chance of damage. (Crossing my fingers) In my opinion, these memory foam tips are working great so far. They've actually allowed me to justify my purchase of these super expensive earbuds. They mold to the shape of my ear canal and remain in place regardless of what type of activity I am currently doing. I finally feel like I can now benefit from every feature the AirPod Pros have to offer especially noise-cancelling. The longest I've had them on at this point is like 5 hours straight with no loss of sound/comfort. Half the time I forget they are there. Now I have to remind you that I've only had these about a week, so they haven't been put through all the paces yet, like during longer workouts or while at work, so I will update my review if necessary. My only critique of this product is that they seem to attract dirt/ear wax very easily, regardless of how recent you've cleaned your ears. I combat this issue by taking a soft, dry toothbrush and cleaning them before I put them in the charging case before recharging. In the end, I think they could be cheaper but at this point I would recommend these to anyone. I am also going to purchase a 3-pack of the medium size in case I lose any. Bought in September of 2022, used mainly while mowing or doing yardwork as I don’t use AirPods that often in general. But these are a game-changer if you’re someone like me whose ear holes reject most if not all other earbuds or tips. They give you that great feeling of security because you’re not always having to adjust them, which can lead to skipping tracks, answering horrible people’s calls or whatever. They’re definitely easy to install. You just pull the ones that are on your AirPods straight off. (Don’t worry, they do come off like that.) That being said though, use more ease, possibly with these when you pull them off if you ever need to clean or change the size when you first get them because, though they have a good grip, I know it can lead to tearing this type of foam. (Tragic foreshadowing.) So today (June 2026) I was cleaning them and they disintegrated in my hand, the poor dears…they gave me a good number of years. (See pictures) I would still definitely recommend them. They gave me the usability of the AirPods Pro which before them I regretted buying and avoided using due to their fit (or my ear holes, shush). One star taken simply due to zero warning before they crumbled.

I have been traveling professionally for about twelve years now, and have spent plenty of money on various noise cancelling headphones during that time. Several Bose products, Apple AirPod and AirPod Max, Sony, Bang & Olufsen, Beats, and others. With everything I've tried, I concluded that earbuds are a no-go for me. I can't get them to stay in my ear. So my most recent option was the overpriced and decidedly not travel friendly AirPod Max. They are fantastic, but you have to make so many compromises (weight, portability, case, size, comfort etc.). After Apple released the new AirPod Pro 2, I decided to circle back and give them another go. Sure enough, the included earbuds just won't stay in, at least not well enough for me to travel through busy airports with confidence they won't end up on the floor somewhere. Since my AirPod Max had to go in for service, I was determined to make the ear buds work. I considered various ear hook options, but that leads to issues with the charging case. I am familiar with Comply as a brand, because they make various ear buds for use in audiology, which is my field. If they are good enough for professional hearing testing, maybe they can work with Apple too. I have been hugely impressed. My longest flight so far has been about 3.5 hours. No comfort issues. Great sound blocking. And I have not felt even the slightest concern that they are going to fall out. So finally, after various products, and literally giving up on this form factor, I have found a third party ear bud that allows me to use the excellent AirPod Pro 2 without fear of them falling out. It's been a few weeks and a few business trips, and they are still doing a great job. They fit nicely in the charging case without any special requirements. They stay on the product correctly. In short they did exactly what I wanted them to. I began by ordering a multi size pack to check my size, and then ordered some more in my chosen size. Just a great buy, and it has radically lightened the load in my backpack, and freed up so much space that my old headphones used to occupy.

I bought a set of these in January of this year, and just had to throw them out as they right side one started falling apart on me. I tend to wear just one in my day to day, so that one got most of the wear and tear. But whatever foam they use for the “SmartSkin” is clearly not designed to hold to sweat, and one place I use these most is for podcast listening while I’m doing yard work or other outside jobs that have me getting sweaty in these warmer months. Whole reason I bought them was because the original ear tips on my AirPods Pro would come loose when I’d do that sort of work. So this is very disappointing, especially given their cost. Apart from that, they do live up to the hype. Great seal that doesn’t come loose, way more comfortable on my ears than the original tips, and still great sound quality. Now that I know I’m a Medium, I might try buying a pack just that size and see how it lasts. But I’ll have to think about it, because if these continue to fail under environmental stress it’s really not worth the cost.

I basically never write reviews on here. Like ever. In truth, this is probably my first, but I need to give credit where credit is due. Just to preface this review, I guess I have sensitive ears. I can’t wear the first gen AirPods (regular, not pro) that weren’t made with tips for longer than 5 minutes. I never bothered to buy them because of that, but I tried a friend’s just to see how the felt, and they seriously killed my ears, I don’t know how people can stand them. So I’ve been very happy with my AirPod Pros, but I knew right away that I wanted memory foam tips for them. I’ve bought and tried several different brands sold on Amazon and without fail, I can’t wear any of them for more than a couple hours, without them starting to feel uncomfortable. One brand starts to feel like my ear canals are swollen or something because the ear buds will not stay in or fit properly after a while. I do the test on my iPhone to make sure they’re the right fit when I first buy them, but after a while, my ears are just done with these other brands I’ve tried. Another brand stayed in but pretty soon after putting them in, my ears start to ache. I’ve discovered I need to use a medium tip for my left ear and a small tip for my right. So with all of that context out of the way, I can honestly say these are the most comfortable memory foam tips I’ve found. I can wear them literally all day and feel no discomfort. They stay in, I can work out in them, and the noise cancellation is still great, too. If you have sensitive ears or just want to make sure you’re getting the most comfortable memory foam tips, I highly, highly recommend these and I’m so glad that I found them. I had resigned myself to believing that I just can’t wear AirPods for more than a couple hours without pain and discomfort but went out on a limb and tried this and found I don’t have to settle for discomfort anymore.

My Airpods make my ears ache after a while of using them, so I was pulled in by an ad for these. At first, I was all into them. I even did sound tests to see if they sealed better than the standard tips that come with Airpods. They were comparable, and perhaps a hair better. They felt a little weird to me. The small was too small, while the medium felt far too large, but I figured I'd just need to get used to them. I have worn them every single day since. I wear them on my daily walks, wear them at work, and wear them often at home. I wanted to wait to really try them to see how I liked them. And here's the answer: I don't. They are memory foam, so they take a moment to mold to the inside of your ear. But like memory foam, cold weather makes them mold slower. And like memory foam, they create a memory that squishes down. Just like you see in mattresses with the dip in them, these end up squishing down and offering even less sealing than the regular Airpod tips. After a while, you find yourself driving them harder into your ear, causing more pain than before. They end up losing their sealing properties pretty quickly. I've had these less than two months and they barely seal now. I have to really work them into my ear. Well, just now I removed these TruGrip tips and put the original Airpod tips back on. And guess what? Ahhhhhh, they feel so much better. And though my kid's band is blasting away in the room adjacent to mine right now as I type this, the sealing and noise cancellation is so much better, it's not bothering me in the least. So I'll stay with the minor annoyance I had with the original Airpod tips. It's way more tolerable than these painful TrueGrips. I wish I could get my money back.

These are very good AirPod tips. Bought large size and show a perfect seal on my AirPods. They also fit perfectly in the charging case. So those who complained must have a counterfeit case or tips! These are great better than Apples by far and the cheaper foam ones! Us recommend and I’ll buy whenever I need to..if you need to clean these tips use a wet one gently and let the dry naturally and they’ll stay clean and last a long while!

Ok to use for short period of time. Not very secure if using for longer periods as they tended to cause my AirPod pros to move around a bit so had to keep readjusting them to make sure they felt secure in my ears.

A better fit for my ears then original ear tips and in my opinion a better seal from outside noise as well!
