Good little value for your money.
I ordered these as a gift for my husband and he loved it and thought it was a deal! The charger works and the batteries hold charge good. It's cheaper than going to Lowe's.

New batteries and charger for a very decent price
My friend gave me a Milwaukee tool set, which stopped working for some reason. The 1.5 Ah battery was dead, the charger did not have any lights and would not charge the only battery I had. I opened the battery and carefully charged the cells bypassing the safeties. Still it would not run the tools or charge in the charger. Since I did not know what was wrong with the set I decided to buy this kit, which includes both batteries and a charger. It turns out I made a good decision. As soon as I put the old battery on the new charger it started charging. Right away I took it off the charger and put it on a tool and it worked as well. So the old charger was bad and the original battery needed a good charger for a couple of seconds to reset the safeties. Interesting...Now I have a set of a compact drill, impact wrench, 3 batteries and a charger. Let's talk about the batteries and the charger. They came in the sealed Milwaukee Starter Kit box. Everything looks authentic, but it came from China and all bets are off with this country. I have seen too many counterfeits in my life. For this price it has to be a counterfeit product or a quality reject from the original Chinese factory. We'll never know for sure. But the product looks and feels like the original Milwaukee.I even weighted the batteries and got 716 and 725 grams. One Youtube video says a 5 Ah counterfeited battery weighted 649 g. By the way both batteries came with little charge and 1 light on the fuel gauge, I measured 17.80 and 17.78 V across (+) and (-) terminals. After full charge one new battery measured 20.73 V. The charge took a little over an hour, but the battery still had some initial charge in it. At the end of charge the charger was quite warm.Time will tell if it is a good purchase. I will post un update after awhile. For now this product deserves solid 5 stars, counterfeit or not.

Genuine and good batteries
Decided to take a shot ordering batteries and a charger online. I had some issues at first getting the batteries to charge. You really have to slam them in and they work fine after that. I guess you just have to abuse the charger a little bit. They’re genuine batteries and they do charge quick!

Check your insertion and cycle the charger to get past the red/green blinking stage.
Was terribly disappointed because the batteries both flashed red/green which means the batteries are faulty and the charger will NOT charge them if indeed so. I was going to return them and complain a lot, but before I did that, I thought to seek solutions. After re-insertion of the battery and a re-plugging of the charger, it started charging properly. It's not easy to tell when the M18 battery is fully inserted. It could be better if the batteries locked in as my 60v batteries do their charger. There's NO MISTAKING when those are fully inserted. Look at the 1-star reviews--90% of them are "red/green" bad battery complaints. Try fixing things before complaining. Also note that the highly repeated technique on youtube of wiring one battery to another for half an hour was totally unnecessary. Also wouldn't have worked with two dead batteries and no other M18 in my possession.Four stars because the angst of a charger/battery setup that is prone to issues, especially this issue.
