STOBOK DIY Matryoshka Dolls Unpainted Wooden Russian Nesting Dolls for Crafting

We ordered two of these to go along with our homeschool unit on Russia. We surprised o kiddos with these after reading about Matryoshka dolls. We were quickly disappointed when one of the dolls was next to impossible to open. When we finally got it open, we were unable to close it again. I guess we will try to sand it. Let’s just say I have one bummed out 5 year old.

I ordered 3 of these nesting dolls to paint as part of a project I was doing. The first set came and they were beautiful! I painted them and they were lovely. The other two I bought came damaged. So I guess its luck of the draw?

So these needed to be preyed open with a small screw driver and then sanded by a dremmel nail file to open and not get stuck. That being said they are adorable, easy to paint and my son is very happy. If you have the extra time and energy to crack them open it’s worth it

These were nearly impossible to open up. It took several people and finally had to be pried open with a tool. Half of the ones inside were also very difficult to open up. Extremely disappointed as these were a project for a young child and there is no way they're going to be able to open and close them.

My daughter is an artist. She says it's beautiful material to work with. She will definitely be ordering more.
