Napoleon - TravelQ 285X Portable Propane Gas Grill and Scissor Cart with Griddle, Red, 2 Burners, For Tailgating, Camping, And Small Outdoor Spaces

First of all it didn't come with griddle as advertised. I was aware that this was probably the case from reviews. It's surprising Amazon allows them to keep advertising this. However, in spite of this I'm still giving 5 stars as my review is about the grill itself. Besides, it this price, I could buy a griddle if I really needed one. And it did come with a small cover that fits over the grill (not the shelves or legs) but pretty good.The grill is very well made. The grilling plates are heavy and retain heat incredibly well. I really like the fact that there are 2 burners although for the most part I only use 1. The temperature gauge seems to be pretty accurate (I have no way to test it).One of the reasons I bought is because of its portability. I'm not gong to be taking anywhere other than my storage but this was impossible with my previous grill. The automatic ignition works perfectly. Temperature control also very good.I'm delighted with purchase and highly recommend.

Grill was great for the first few uses. After that it wouldn't hold a flame. Spent months getting in contact with Napoleon grills and finally getting a new regulator which did not solve th issues. The Amazon seller won't give me a refund. Napoleon won't either since I went through the Amazon seller. What a huge waste of time and money. Haven't been able to use this grill since September of 2023 it's now January 2024. No refund and I have a grill that doesn't work.

Update — the vendor shipped me the missing drop-in griddle, so my order is complete. I’m pleased with the grill. It transports easily but has a larger grilling surface than many others, and construction quality is good.From prior: This seems to be a well-made product that folds nicely, but I am disappointed. The product description on Amazon stated the grill came with grill grates and a drop-in griddle, but the description was not correct. There is no griddle (which was a feature that contributed to my choosing this grill.). I’ve contacted the manufacturer, and will update this review if the problem is resolved.

The grill works well but the griddle pan is missing. Amazon will only return the grill and not just send the missing part. The grill cannot be put back in the box after it is assembled as the wheels are locked in place by a hammered on fitting. I contacted napolean I'll update the review once I hear from them.Update:After emailing Napolean they did send out the griddle. Thank you Napolean for saving me the hassle of returning the whole grill to Amazon.

We ordered this grill to take with us for an upcoming Florida trip this winter. We haven’t actually cooked on it yet but we did set it up and turn it on to make sure that everything worked perfectly and the burners and the thermostat work great. We had one issue with a broken top handle when the grill arrived but Customer service for Napoleon was fantastic. They got the part on order for me right away followed up with me several times and we had the new part within a few days. So far we are very pleased.

I believe that Napoleon grills are better than Weber. I had the small Weber (portable,Ha!) with the stand separate. The stand is garbage so I sold the grill. I ordered their Napoleon and couldn’t be happier. Heats up quickly, doesn’t loose a lot of heat when opening, folds and rolls easily. I’d buy one again in a heartbeat. Only gave four stars for Easy to Clean because too me, all grills are a pain to clean.

Love the grill but extremely disapointed that it did not come with the drop in griddle. I read reviews ahead of ordering and it was stated by others they did not receive the griddle either. I thought, this doesn't sound like AMAZON as I never had any issues with product description and order being complete. Obviously disapointed and will look at other distributers for purchases in the future. And yes I did request help two times with no responses.

I bought this grill because it has two burners but the flame is inadequate for intense heat when you want it, also If you can finally get to 400 degrees and you open the cover for 10 seconds the temp goes down to 275 degrees. The build quality is excellent but the ignition and temperature knobs are are very glitchy and not user friendly.
