Essential For Any Household.
Great value. Well made. The ribbed jaws grip anything well. I bought these for use in wiring electronics in guitars, but they turned out to essential for everyday use. For tying, gripping, positioning small hard to hold objects; these are essential for any household.

My father busted out a set of hemostats while we were working on a project together. They were thick and robust, and I had to have one. I did a quick search on Amazon and ordered this set of 2. They had pretty good reviews. While the actual jaws seem somewhat precise, they were skinny and very rough in construction compared to his. I think they will be fine for what I might use them for, but they aren't high quality.You know what? I just looked at the price I paid a couple weeks ago. Go ahead and buy them for 8 bucks. Just with a price check to remind myself, 3 star to 4.

You get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for. These are definitely not the highest of quality but will serve the purpose(s) for which I purchased them (DIY projects, general household use). One of the 5-inch and one of the 8-inch clamps would not stay closed because the teeth would not mesh together. I had to slightly bend the clamp handles to correct this. In general, the teeth on all four clamps that I bought don’t mesh together very well. If I had to do it again, I would definitely not purchase again.
