Why do my left ear bud battery die when it’s been fully charged?

This is a general design problem with all Skullcandy earbuds. The problem is that the left earbud is the one that pairs and when the case's charge is drained, it starts looking to connect. If you have bluetooth active on your phone/tablet/pc, it will connect and the battery will drain. Best way to avoid is to either keep the case charging with the earbuds in them or turn off bluetooth on any nearby devices when you're not using them.

Can you use one earbud while the other one is charging with the case closed?

Yes but the case will need to be open

Is the usb charging port on the back so it can sit on a table and charge or the bottom like older models?

Skullcandy's Sesh Evo has the charging port on the back of the case making it easy to sit on any surface while charging!

Do these have a "hear through" feature?
