Worn less than 12 hours
Vionic shoes were recommended by my podiatrist to help my plantar fasciitis. Great a recommendation by my doctor who also sells this brand of shoe but didn't have a style I liked. It's a go! I was excited to receive these shoes as my feet had been killing me for over a month. While I did feel they helped the plantar fasciitis, after less than 12 hours of wearing only in the house (I think I took one trek out of the house across the lawn) I discovered scuffs and tears on the toes of the shoes. Now, I'm a 56 year old woman, far from hard on things, and can barely get around due to pain in my feet, when I pay over $100 for a pair of shoes they should last at least twelve months not twelve hours. Needless to say I have returned these shoes. I'm horribly sad because I did feel they were helping the PF pain by giving great arch support. I may try a different style but as for the "leather look" (can you say plastic?) tennis shoes I won't be purchasing another pair.

Very pleased. Large toe box. Room during exercise
I was surprised how much I love these. They are light in weight. It does not feel like you have weights on your feet. Large toe box. I bought them for exercise. I am having a hard time not wearing them all the time. So comfortable. Update:These were so comfortable I bought a second pair. I am concerned how hot they will be this summer, but I will be able to walk. I was using a running shoe for the treadmill(I am a walker not runner). I had injured my knee wearing a pair of old running shoes and even had to have injections in my knee. Since I changed to these, I have not had an problems what so ever. Love them.

What a relief!
I have fallen arches and have been plagued by plantar fasciitis on and off for years. I have fairly big feet - size 10, and I am wide at the ball of my foot, so finding a shoe that was just a little wide and long enough to allow for orthotic inserts was nearly impossible. Size 10 1/2 is rare. These walking shoes in size 10 with the C/D width are perfect. The heel cup does what it is supposed to do, eliminating the need for orthotic inserts, and the arch support is phenomenal. Yes, the footbed feels a little hard compared to other shoes, but the fit is so good that extra cushioning is not necessary. On top of all that, these look like regular walking shoes. Except for the Orthaheel label, no one would ever know. I am thrilled with these shoes, and have already purchased a pair of boots and slippers.

Not sure.
Toe box is a bit narrow. Looks awkward looking for a wide width shoe. They’re okay. I kind of expected a more comfortable footbed and overall feel for the price. The shoe is stiff as if it was made from an artificial leather product instead of a tru leather. It has a “vinyl” rigidity in the upper part of the shoe. Very uncomfortable for my bunion.

This is, I Believe, my Third or Fourth Pair of These Shoes
My first pair was bought during a spell of plantar fasciitis. The shoes helped more than physical therapy. They are my house shoes and the older pair become my dog walking, gardening shoes. I never want to be without these shoes.

Kind of clunky looking.
I was under the impression that these would help me with my planters fasciitis. They do not. Too pricey for what I got. Boxy and clunky looking. I wouldn’t mind at all it they would have been the answer to my problem. Too bad. Felt I had to keep them since I wore them.

Finally.....I found a pair that I can wear
Have had a heel problem for over a year and have struggled to find shoes that I can wear comfortably. With a trip to Disney World planned, I was very concerned about the walking. I purchased these and hoped for the best. I normally wear a size 10; these ran small and I had immediate pain shoot through my heel when I tried to put them on. I reordered a wide width and it was perfect. I walked miles without any pain, made me almost forget that I have a heel issue. Love them! I just wish they could make some good looking shoes with this kind of arch and heel support...with the exception of their Tides, Vionic has yet to put out any shoes with both function and style.

Relief
I have had foot pain for years, but since I got these shoes it's not so bad. It took about three days to get used to them ,but after they are very comfy and sturdy. They wont win you any style contest, but I would rather have comfort and no pain than style.

Expensive return policy cost me $33.90.
I did not like the way this shoe fit. When I got my foot in the back of the shoe does not allow you to get your heel in place and the arch support was back by the heel of my foot. Sorry . I don't know what happened to leather runners?I have been trying to get an A-Z Guarantee but so far no success. Thanks
