Easy to read numbers, accurate with hot or cold liquids. Very sturdy, comfortable handle, easy to read numbers. Replaces a 20+ year old identical item whose numbers faded enough to make reading difficult. Great price!

I just absolutely adore, love my little cup. It sure is so cute. I'm using it all the time now helping me cook and bake. Every week I'm in my kitchen cooking and baking and this small glass measuring cup makes my work so much easier. I really don't know how I ever got along without it. I can now confidently measure little amounts such as 1/4 or 1/2 cup very easily and accurately. My kitchen is definitely becoming everything I've always wanted it to be. With the assistance and help from Amazon my work is very much simpler now. I now have 4 different glass measuring cups, all Pyrex, a 8 cup, a 4 cup, a 2 cup and now this very, very sweet smaller 1 cup. It all continually makes me so happy having all the necessary kitchen tools needed to make recipes turn out successfully. I actually shopped here locally looking for this measuring cup but was unable to find it to purchase in my local stores. I would highly recommend this most helpful addition to anyone whether a beginner or a seasoned chef in the kitchen. I know it will make anyone happy. I read many reviews before ordering this. Like many others I had an old (at least 20 years old) Pyrex measuring cup and it broke the other day. You could barely read the measurements on my old one so I wasn't too upset. I received my new one today and compared it to the old one, visually at least. It is almost identical in height and width. I did measurements and both measured liquids exactly the same. Several people had complained about the spout dripping so I tested that with several liquids. I had no dripping, it poured great. Someone stated that it was made in China and therefore not as good a product. Well unless they are lying to me, mine states made in the USA on the side. The only difference I can see visually is that when looking down on it the glass appears bluish rather than clear whitish. The thickness of the cup is identical too, several had stated that their new one was thinner, mine was not any different for the old one. The only other MAJOR complaint was that the new measuring cups shattered in the microwave. I have not had the chance to find this out for myself. I did buy it to boil water and melt butter in the microwave so it won't be long before I test for this problem. If it does shatter, I will be posting a follow-up. I sure hope it lasts as long as the first one.******FOLLOW-UP*****I have now had this measuring cup for one year and used it almost every day with it being microwaved probably 4-5 times a week. It is still in perfect shape and has not shattered in the microwave. I did drop it a couple of times on the linoleum floor and it did not break. I am still 100% satisfied.

Nice, heavyweight. Has extra height to the cup that allows for whisking/beating.Much better than a plastic measuring cup.

Thick and sturdy glass! The markings are very clear and don’t seem like they will wear off very fast. The package was sent safely with no breakage. I do think that these items are a little bit overpriced, but I do think it’s also a good value for the money. Most certainly very easy to use in the markings are easy to read.

Its my first ever pyrex, glad to find it on Amazon. Perfect for daily use and easy to clean. Sturdy build and easy handling.

I am very happy with this purchase and might order another one. That said, I use it a bit differently than most perhaps. I dont use the spout to pour but a rubber spatula to pull out the contents into a bowl, so I am unable to speak of whether it pours well from that spout or not. I understand some others were not happy with that feature but for myself it hasn't been an issue. I prefer glass to plastic, it will wear longer and the measurements that I need, are very clear.

I love Pyrex Measuring Cups and always have. The order came out quickly, the price was lower than I had ever seen and the box and wrapping was just right. The only thing is that Pyrex changed the handles on their Measuring Cups a very long time ago. I was replacing an old Pyrex 1-cup Measuring Cup which I'd had for 20 years on which the handle came full circle and was easy to hold. The new 1-cup Measuring Cup does not have the 'full-circle' handle. It's handle comes out and extends downward a bit therefore in my opinion does not feel as secure. I have very small hands, that may help or hinder. I like the old "D" shaped handle better. Otherwise, the Pyrex quality still shines through and is still my favorite.
