This book was just what I needed in My life! So much pain and anquish. Health issues that made me turn away from God! After reading this book I've got a whole new outlook of my life! Starting this moment, I'm putting a bit in my mouth, and speaking things as though they were. Putting only positive words over my life. Once those negative words come out, I'm putting them out for the enemy to have a playday with! We're only human we make mistakes, but be careful what you claim over your life. If it slips out, repent immediately. Great read as usual from Joyce Meyer

Reading this book helped me in a crucial time of my life. Every time I started feeling depressed I remembered practicing the precious lessons of this book that lifted up my faith.

How to speak and therefore live life in a constructive, positive way, from the Biblical perspective, using the Scriptures and the Word and the Truth it contains. I have also read the book "Good vibes, Good life" by Vex King which says the exact same things from a non-Christian point of view. Mr. King unknowingly is using and recommending Biblical principles and promises from God, but calls it the universe and karma, instead of the Creator God, the Word, the Truth and the Life, The Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Biblical scriptures. So, if a non-Christian like Vex King has had such great experience with these principles and is recommending this in his lifestyle and mind coaching books, then how much more do these principles apply to Christians, if they live by them? Do no harm, speak no ill and negative over or to anyone or anything, including ourselves, do unto others as you want them to do to you, forgive don't hold grudges, grudges hurt us more than our opponents, count what you have and be grateful for it, be assured, that where there is a will there's a way to achieve your goals, as long as they don't harm anyone, don't be greedy, give back etc, etc. All Biblical, Christian principles, which Joyce Meyer is writing about in this booklet, very similar to Vex Kings book. Summed up in a nutshell in a Biblical quote, you reap what you sow. Sow good words (deeds) and good will come back to you, even if you just cheer yourself up (create a positive frame of mind, that makes us productive, constructive) with positive talk and thoughts. Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

The power of our words we know from the bible that there is power in our tongues and it can either bring life or death but this book really explains in more detail how the words we speak effect us emotionally and spiritually and therefore having a better understanding we can actually choose to change how we speak resulting in Gods blessings. Joyce Meyers books are always so practical and easy to read. I highly recommend this book. All her books are a blessing.

This book illustrates the importance of using positive words and how to use more effective speech. It is a great start in using power words to get out of the rut of thinking and speaking harsh, ineffective and negative communication.

I chose this book help me with the words of my mouth. If God used words to create the universe thenI believe as the bible says Life and Death are in my tongue. Great book. I am encouraged to keep a guard over my mouth.
