I was afraid they'd be too wet and slimy to do anything, but they worked great. I used about a third of one pack (you get three) and was able to get all the crumbs and dust off my dashboard, in the cup holder, vents, and crevices around the door. It was pretty gross but really satisfying. Start with the least messy and work your way up. then toss when it's too gunky. You could probably use it more than once if it's not too messy but since I split mine up, I didn't want to put the dirty slime back in with the clean pack so I just kept going until the chunk I took was used up. Was able to clean the seems of my leather seats as well (I wouldn't recommend using on fabric.) I realized though, that this is basically the same "slime" all the kids are making these days so will probably make my own in the future, but if this IS worth the price especially if you're not crafty.

I was thrilled with how well it cleaned my keyboard, as a cleaner, but as a last resort, today I tried it to unstick some keys on my keyboard that wouldn't unstick using normal "unsticking" tricks. It so very easily "unstuck" the stuck keys, just like magic. Everyone should have this on hand. It picks up crumbs that drop into the keyboard and fall around the keys and works so easily. It's sort of like the putty we played with as kids. I have dogs who sometimes do a doggy shake releasing very fine hairs into the air. They sometimes get near or on the keyboard. This picks them up and those hairs/fur is usually pretty hard to pick up. You really can't go wrong with this, and it's reusable. Just put it back into the jar and use it again. It couldn't be easier to use. I very highly recommend this gel. It makes cleaning fun.

This cleaning gel works really well for getting dust and debris out of air vents, cup holders, and other hard-to-reach spots in the car. It’s easy to use and picks up dirt better than expected. Just make sure not to leave it sitting in direct sunlight or high heat for too long because it can get too soft and messy. Overall, a handy little detailing tool to keep in the vehicle.

I thought this would come in jar like other car cleaning putty gels. Came in a pouch. It was basically a one time use product. Waste of money.

My first red flag was when I tried to take it out of the package and it would not come out of the package in one piece. I kept trying to shove it back in and get it to stick to itself like you would with a chewed piece of bubblegum, but that didn't work. The second red flag was when I notice that the texture was nothing like what they showed in the pictures and more like the slime that we would get from the bubble gum machine when we were kids. Still trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, I attempted to use it to clean some crumbs out of my cup holder, which it is advertised as being able to do. Some of the crumbs did stick to it, and others just stayed in the cup holder and got slimy. I tried using the other side and it still wouldn't pick them up after they were slimy and sticky. I thought maybe I would try to use it on my computer keyboard, like it is also advertised for both in the ad and on the package, but when I attempted to rinse it out as it says to do, none of the crumbs came out of it. I couldn't rinse them out. I couldn't pick them out. I requested a refund from Amazon, thinking that they would just refund my money, but they actually want this stuff back. Now I'm irritated that I have to waste my gas driving 30 minutes to the nearest return location. I'll waste more gas than this is worth. After returning it to the package, I had to wash my hands because little chunks of it stuck to my fingers.

Okay, the videos make it look a LOT less slimy. Trying to pull a wad out of the jar is a cartoon flypaper moment. Once successful with that maneuver, the slimy kneading takes a few but once you have a ball of it? It grabs the tiny flecks of old French fries, dust, dander, and who knows what those little black things are way down in your cup well that Windex, air pressure or Armor All cleaning wipes won't pick up. And the stuff that is inexplicably stuck to the very edges of the logo in your steering wheel that Q tips won't grab? Gone. Air vents, though not as easily done as the videos, are clean, rims of knobs and levers, the very edge of the in dash nav etc. system? All clean. Funky, slimy, nastier than a handful of cow snot, but it works like a charm getting the inaccessible tiny funks out of your automobile's interior. Excellent for cleaning A/V components, electronic keyboards, musical and typing as well. Even toys, action figures and dolls. A good way to get your kids/grandkids to clean house. If it's clean except around the buttons this will finish the job.

This cleaning gel had a mild scent that I didn’t mind using in our new car, it wasn’t over powering, but wasn’t the best scent either. It comes in a user friendly container which it can continue to be stored nicely in between use. The gel works fantastic in all the dusty vent areas and cup holders and hard to get clean places. However the product can not not be cleaned in order to maintain it. I’m just a few months of making use of the product in our new car it became unusable and stuck to my hands when taken out of the container. There were also times the gel would stick to the areas being cleaned, but was easy to clean. This most recent time I had to throw it in the trash and wash my hands. I will be looking for a similar product to try as it was very convenient for those hard places.

Considering you cannot reuse this stuff after a certain amount of time, the low price point is a good thing. It also does what it says and has the stickiness needed to pull dirt off. It will eventually dry out, so do all the cleaning in a short amount of time, its not just car vents, even recessed stereo buttons and remote controls collect dirt, this helps get a lot of it off. the ideas are endless really!
