I use it when my sinks get slow or my bathtub. It does the job, and I have been useing it for a couple of years now.

A friend highly recommended this to me so I tried it out two times:1. Bathroom sink was draining slow: likely due to hair trimmings. Put this in, maybe an hour later ran water through and it was 100% clear! Great! However.. my drain smelled bad afterward, so then I soaked it in vinegar for another hour. After that it has been perfectly clear and clean!2. Kitchen sink: My bad: I let it get completely stuck. This stuff didn't help much - so my advice to you is to use this stuff once you notice water draining slowly (don't wait until it is stuck!). I would let this affect the review though - as I'm not sure any chemical could have solved it (solution below).I solved the stuck drain by first making sure the drain pipe had no other exits (can be air-tight). Then I poured in a mix of water and baking soda and waited a minute. Then I poured in vinegar and immediately closed my side of the drain creating an air tight seal. Seconds later - drain was clear, the mixture created gas that pushed the clog down! It works - but don't let your drain get stuck - use this PEQUA drain opener first!

I’ve had to use this twice for a clogged toilet and shower. I swear by it. I’ve left it in a little longer than they suggest, but it cleaned out my pipes. A lot cheaper than a plumber!

As per my plumber, this can safely be used with septic systems. It works well and I use it regularly to prevent drainage problems.

I spent 50 years of my life clearing, snaking drains in restaurants and when it comes to residential soap, shampoo residue,scum is the problem.Pequa is amazing! I've seen and tried pretty much everything that exists and this product is the real deal. Hint if can get very warm water to go through first do it then Pequa. Let it do its thing for 20 minutes or so then flush the drain with more hot water... I hope this saves you making an expensive call and excellent for simple drain maintenance!

This is “great stuff!”…my husband’s words! It is an excellent product to unclog your clogged drains! We used this product for years especially in the bathtub/shower & the bathroom sinks. Just pour it in at night & in morning your drain is unclogged! I buy 3 to always have on hand. Such a great product I highly recommend it!

I bought this deal thinking it wasn’t going to work, and wow was I wrong, cleared it up instantly(with hot water to follow)…i should have bought this years ago!!
