Will this work on smaller cables like 22/4 gauge, or does it have to be romex?

We have only used the stapler on Romex wire. The 22/4 may be a little small however it will probably hold it in place. Hope this helps

Will this work for 1/2” plumbing pex pipe?

The DCN701D1 is not compatible with 1/2/ plumbing pex pipe.

Will this fit t59 insulated cable staples?

On this model, you would use DRS18100 staples.
