Great product for protection of paint
Very happy with it fits and works great for my needs with my hobby car I’ve had 41 years now. Product is sturdy with strong enough magnets that hold just fine for me. No complaints at this point.

Works, does not slip off
Magnetic and works well, does not slip off.

Good fender protection
I bought this for brake fluid change to protect fenders from paint damage. Cheap insurance. Also helps if you drop a tool on the fender. Doesn’t slide off due to magnets sewn in.

Good product
Works well! Obviously the magnet won’t work if your vehicle is aluminum or plastic.

Superior to most other covers for the price
From my perspective, I have purchased a lot of fender covers over the years and honestly, the ones from the factory parts counter are the best. Unfortunately, most don’t make them any more, so we have to use these aftermarket brand X types. This one is a high quality and I am thinking durable too. It’s made well, stitched nicely and plush. My only concern, and others have mentioned it too, is the size. It would be great if it were longer, both width and height. But overall, it nice. I have already purchased two and thinking about a third.

Unlike their tools, Gear Wrench did not do a very good job Engineering this product.
Because I'm a HUGE FAN if Gear Wrench tools (When my tools were stolen I replaced almost all of my old tools--which were all Snap On, Mac, and Craftsman--with Gear Wrench and I love them more than my old tools!), so I took a liking to these cover at first, and since my old ones were headed for the trash I figured I'd get a set of these. Well, in appearance these fender covers are nice, and I love the Gear Wrench Logo, but in function they are terribly insufficient. The flap that covers the tops side of the fender, which SHOULD be large enough to fit over the fender and into the engine compartment to provide full coverage, is a teeny-tiny little 2'' flap, with magnets sewn inside. WEAK magnets. This little flap is supposed to sit on the inside the fender's lip and be secured with these weak refidgerator magnets. I don't know about you, but most fender covers I've used have a large flap with two seams which drapes the cover over the top of the fender, then the flap sits inside the hood, acting as a counterweight, and then the rest hangs over the fender. Not these. Just a tiny little 2" flap. I found I had to secure the fender covers to the vehicle with a plastic clip, just to keep them from spontaneously slipping off the fenders. If you brush against them while working with them on the vehicle they'll end-up on the floor of your shop without some kind of fastener or holding device. Guaranteed. The quality of the material is fairly nice, but that doesn't do you any good if they are laying on the floor, instead of protecting the fenders of the vehicle you are servicing. I must admit that I expected these fender covers to be as "skookum" as their tools, but was severely disppointed. I'll still use them, though, once I get some naugahyde and sew a decent flap on the edge that goes into the engine bay. Then they'll probably be better than my ole Mac set that they will replace. I think I'll sew a little tool holding device on the flap, too. I still LOVE Gear Wrench, though. Just a little disappointed in this product is all.

Excellent fender covers
These fender covers are exactly as advertised. Provide great protection and cover my fenders perfectly.

I recommend It
The magnets are nice for holding it on the fender if you have steel fenders. It doesn't work on my corvette very well but that's OK. The quality is good regardless.
