I followed directions and it did lubricant pull valves and assumed it also put coating on tanks. Will use again in a few months per direction. Good company with good product. Happy enough to recommend its use

Actually worked!
Long story short, I got a quote to replace both the black and grey valves on our 2017 5th wheel that we bought now. The dump handles never really worked right even when it was new and soon go to the point where I couldn't close them all the way. To prevent the trickle of nasty water from coming out I added external dump valves which worked, but it still bothered me that the factory dump valves were not working right.I got a quote for hundreds of dollars to replace both valves (RV center in Kelso, WA), but decided to buy this stuff first. I dumped a bottle in the black and a bottle in the grey tank and added water. (Yea, I didn't follow the instructions to the letter). As I started working the black valve in and out, I thought I broke the cable because it suddenly had very little resistance. Same with the grey valve. The valves were not broken, they were just working as designed. They were easier to operate then when the trailer was brand new and most importantly, the trickle of gross water stopped coming out. Just my experience but I think I've only done one other product review on here so this stuff really impressed me!

Not TOTALLY ineffective
Ok, so I got this because I have a sealed underbelly for a cold weather package, and it covers the valves as well. So getting to them for any sort of maintenance in a pain to say the least. So, simple fix...lubricant from the inside where it all gets washed off anyways. So, following instruction...1/5 of the bottle per valve. Double it and add 4 gallons of water for repeatedly trying to make it work, all on an empty tank. So this seems easy, and I follow instructions to the letter. The stuff is thick, doesn't seem to mix with the water well. GOOD!In the end, my valves worked better! For a day....Yup, one day Joy. I guess this just washes off like the original grease, but much faster. I shouldn't be surprised.Oh, to be fair this is a family of 6 in a full time living situation, so I was requiring a better result. Maybe if you dump that into the tank and let it sit on the closed valve while it is is storage you will get a better result? Maybe.

This stuff works on stuck valves!
Found a blog post about this product and bought some. All 3 of our gate valves were extremely hard to open and close, and the gray 1 valve ended up stuck in the open position (better than in the closed position). We put 4 ounces down each (black, gray 1, gray 2), let it sit for 15 minutes, and then started opening and closing the valves. Since gray 1 was stuck open, a lot of it dribbled out, but enough sat around the gate that we were able to move it a little. Gray 2 and black though were much better to open and close. We put another 4 ounces down each of those and then used them as normal for 5 days. They are opening and closing with ease now. Gray 1 was not closed completely during those 5 days, so we’re working on that one today. We were able to close it completely today, so we will put more product down and give it a couple days and work the valve open and closed again. This product is a lifesaver!

This really worked Just like it said it would
This really workedJust like it said it would.Bothe black and grey water valves were almost seized. So since we're hooked up.I forced the valves shut.Poured the stuff down the shower drain and the toilet.Added some water and started working the valves back and forth little by little until they ran smooth as butter.
