This book has a abundant amount of practice questions that are qualitative and quntitative that reflect the PE CBT exam extremely well! Currently taking the 2025 Live PE Class that Zach offers. His attention to detail and ability to teach the content based on theory and real world examples is rare!Each piece of study material really been the glue, that has helped me understand a lot of the PE exam specifications.

Great resource to use in addition to the official exam for me. Exam felt very similar with concepts and material, and definitely challenged me but I find it extremely helpful. All problems have solutions clearly explained in the answer key, which helped me with some problems I really found myself getting stumped on. I definitely would reccomend this to anyone who needs some additional tests to work on, as I found it very helpful for my study sessions.

Zach Stone is an expert in teaching for the PE exam, and I'm doing his class right now. This book is a great study guide / practice test for those attempting the PE power. Can't recommend it and Zach's other books enough. I've run through this practice book a couple times now.

Overall I liked using this book. The detailed solutions were very helpful in understanding each problem. My only issues were:1) the margin of the pages causes some of the text to be close to the fold, making it hard at times to read2) I wish the solutions had the full question text. To review the solutions I had to bookmark and fill back to each question to remember what the question actually was when reviewing the solution. Small issues but reviewing would have been slightly easier with those things adjusted

Really love the thorough solutions. I tried all the problems first and then was able to learn from the detailed solutions to the practice questions. Some of the solutions are 3+ pages in depth of detail demonstrating different approaches you can take to solve the problem.

This is definitely a quality over quantity book, and I mean that as nothing but a compliment. This book has a unique set of 80 questions that touch on a significant portion of the PE exam topics, so even though the questions count is comparatively low to other exam resources, you definitely get your money’s worth.One thing I particularly enjoyed about the questions in this book is how they incorporate a lot of the exceptions/edge cases. This (1) prepares you for the multiple ways a particular type of question can be asked and (2) breaks you out of the plug-and-chug formula mindset, forcing you instead to consider the relationship between variables and the corresponding real world implications.Going into this book, I had a decent familiarity with all subjects on the exam, but there were some knowledge gaps that kept me from fully understanding a topic in it’s entirety (looking at you, per unit system). However, as I progressed through the practice problems, I was delighted to find that time and time again, the thorough solutions offered by this book allowed the final pieces to fall into place, and suddenly everything made so much sense.If you’re still considering, I would highly recommend adding this book to your study material for the PE exam if you want to take your understanding to the next level.
