This suitcase is pretty durable so I doubt I’ll need to buy a replacement soon. I brought it for my trip to Japan and the space inside it suited my needs for a trip that lasted over a week. The wheels were easy to maneuver and the handle on the side helped move it around airports, city streets, and train stations so it serves its purpose well. It may scratch VERY slightly but that’s only a cosmetic issue (I brought the blue version, so if you’re picky, get black) which I’m not picky about. The zippers don’t cause any issues if you don’t over pack and the expandable function is a huge help. No issues using this through baggage check so it fits regulations for a checked bag’s size.

I've been using mine for several trips now, and it shows no signs of wear. Sturdy, smooth riding, strong, lightweight and attractive.

Really good carry on case, lots of room, wheels around with ease, nice and sturdy would highly recommend.

I ordered this luggage set for a planned trip. The price for 3 pieces of luggage was great and Samsonite is well-known for being a quality, long-lasting product. I have had a large hard shell Samsonite for years, but after many years of airline abuse, one of the wheels was not up for another trip. I am very pleased with the look of the luggage when it arrived, but was a little let down that it does not feel as heavy-duty as my old hardshell case, but it still seems good. The wheels are heavy duty and roll very smoothly. I love that the 3 cases nest for easy storage. The cases have handles on both the top and one side, but do not have a hand-hold of any sort on the bottom, making it hard to lift the largest of the 3 cases when fully packed and heavy. Overall, I love the luggage, it held up well on my recent flight with only a few scratches after abuse from TSA on my recent trip. I would recommend this set to anyone who does occasional air travel. Think it will be perfect for road trips and weekend getaways. Not sure how well it would hold up to airline travel if you are a frequent flyer.

Samsonite was recommended numerous times on reddit's /r/BuyItForLife subreddit, so I decided on this set after reading some of the reviews.I've read reviews that say that Samsonite's quality has gone down, and that may or may not be true, but I haven't experienced any issues. I think it's important to keep in mind that there's always a possibility that someone received a faulty set. That would be frustrating, but it happens. I don't necessarily think it's fair to write off the entire set because you happened to get one from a bad batch. I do think that Samsonite may need to improve it's quality control if this kind of scenario is common enough, but I personally had no issues.I had my checked bag packed tight, even slightly over weight, and had no issues picking it up by the extendable handle. Even though that's generally not advisable, the luggage felt sturdy and I didn't feel like I was on the verge of breaking it like I have with cheaper luggage. The wheels were buttery smooth even going over carpet, the expandable handles glide in and out smoothly, and there are some nice pockets within the luggage where you could put smaller items like AirTags, small accessories, charging cables, spare change, or whatever other miscellaneous small items you might have.If you're like me and get analysis paralysis and can't decide, just buy these. You'll be happy you did.
