Great product
I have been a fan of this product and ran out, so I ordered a new bottle. This is much better to use than oil on the threads when torquing down head bolts.

Ought to last me at least a week
The large size is a good deal. ARP claims that this is needed to increase accuracy when torquing their fasteners. They probably believe that to be true, as they usually include a tiny tube with fasteners. It does make sense..most of the rotational force applied goes to overcome friction....if the user applies a different lube and changes the coefficient of friction, the given numbers become meaningless. You have to buy some sort of lube, so get this- the price is ok- your ARP fastener torque will be closer to right, and you can still use is as assembly lube on fasteners whose manufacturer doesn't specify what type of lube. Some OEM torque specs for rod bolts, etc. specify motor oil as lube...I'd probably not use this in that case, as it is probably slipperier with molybdenum disulfide and might result in stretching. This stuff seems similar to Bel-Ray assembly lube, which I don't see for sale anymore.

This is great for cylinder head bolts
This is great for cylinder head bolts, with copper coat head gasket spray and ARP thread lube head gaskets seal better than from the factory.Works great with MLS head gaskets which are prone to leakage.

Excellent
Arp products areof the highest quality and even the assembly lube is just that. Would not use anything else but this on arp and other projects

... brush so you don't have to get your hands dirty.
It's a bottle of ARP bolt/stud lube with a brush so you don't have to get your hands dirty.

Good value
Big container, stays fairly homogeneous when stored for a while (think about unused peanut butter where the oils rise over time). Brush is handy, less waste when applying to fasteners compared to the ‘ketchup packs’ of lube that come with stud kits.
