Sewer hose that will fit inside bumper
After installing the bumper, I found that my Rhino hose was very hard to get inside the bumper. The only hose I found that will easily go inside is the Theford Titan Hose that I got on Amazon. As you can see from the pictures it has a overall smaller outside dimensions . The 15 ft hose fit right inside.

Will NOT Withstand 500 lb-ft! Complicated Brackets. Bad Warranty and Return Policy
I replaced the stock bumper on our travel trailer with this one so we could carry our generator on the bumper. Only a few days after installing the bumper, it had a catastrophic failure while going down the interstate, causing damage to our RV, destroying the spare tire and cargo carrier, and nearly causing a major accident and fire!Mount-n-Lock voided the warranty and only agreed to refund half the price of the bumper and did not cover the $49 return shipping even though it was still within the 30-day return window. The bumper had the spare tire mount and spare tire, an aluminum cargo carrier mounted to Mount-n-Lock GennyGo steel Supports with the carrier extending from 2 inches inside the bumper to about 16 inches outside the bumper. It was carrying our fully-fueled 77-pound generator with about half of its weight directly on top of the bumper and the other half on the supports, for a total of less than 250 lb-ft. While going down the interstate, the bumper along with the platform, generator, and spare tire all came off because the brackets all sheared off.Luckily, everything was strapped down super tight to the carrier, and the security chain I had through the frame of the trailer and the generator held one corner of the platform up (along with one side of the bumper) while the rest dragged on the highway, giving us a chance to pull over and recover what was left. The platform protected the generator, although the platform and supports were destroyed. The spare tire was also destroyed. The two top brackets on either side of the bumper (4 brackets total) sheared off, while the three bottom brackets one either side (6 total) remained intact. As the bumper swung out to one side, the inside of the platform pressed into the back of the trailer damaging the siding as shown in the pictures. When I installed the bumper, I sandwiched the trailer frame I-beam between the layers of brackets, and I drilled a small additional hole to help hold the bumper in the right place while I drilled the larger holes needed to mount the bumper. Mount-n-Lock used these two things as an excuse to void the warranty. I assumed that I could sandwich the I-beam with the brackets given that the end plate that holds the brackets together has 9 slots, even though there are only 5 brackets. This makes it appear that it is designed to allow varied spacing between the brackets should you decide to place the bracket on either side of your frame rail. They told me that it was actually for extra brackets, which is not true, given that they don’t sell any kits with more than 5 brackets, and they don’t sell additional brackets separately. This makes me suspect that a previous design used 9 brackets per side, not 5, and someone decided to reduce the number of brackets to save a few cents, resulting in the failure I experienced. In my correspondence with Mount-n-Lock, they also admitted that the small hole did not contribute in any way to the failure of the brackets – it already comes with 7 much larger holes! Doing these two things was not in any way contrary to the installation instructions, and they had anything to do with the brackets shearing off.To make matters worse, when I first submitted the return request, they responded by saying “If you can provide us more information and pictures, you will be entitled to additional compensation beyond the full refund amount”. Over the course of a week, I spent several hours digging up pictures and providing tons of detailed information with a promise of “additional compensation”. But it turned out to be a ploy to get enough information from me so they could find an excuse to void the warranty and only return half the purchase price and provide zero “additional compensation” for all the other damage!Even if you don’t need to carry any weight on your bumper, or you don’t care about their bad customer support and warranty, I cannot recommend this product. The mounting brackets are a Rube Goldberg solution to something that should be simple. It is a major pain to get the brackets onto the bumper, and once you do, you can’t reposition them without taking the whole assembly apart again.I have purchased a lot of aftermarket and OEM parts for my RVs over the years, and considering how simple it should be to install, this bumper kit is over-complicated. The brackets should be designed such that the user can simply mount the brackets to the trailer first, and then mount the bumper to the brackets. Because this system requires the steps in reverse, it is very difficult to install, especially if you don’t have two other people to hold the bumper in place while you drill holes in the frame or attach heavy clamps. If I had designed a system like this, I would have over-engineered it such that the 500 lb-ft rating would have been arrived at by testing with at least double that torque and while bouncing the bumper up and down to simulate the movement produced by pulling a travel trailer on our under-maintained interstates.

Good bumper, good customer service, not so good quality control
I purchased this bumper to replace the huge hideous bumper on my 2008 E450SD shuttle bus conversion. When it arrived, the bumper was scratched (deep) and discolored by what appeared like chemicals used during the milling/extrusion process. I contacted the company, sent pictures, and they determined that they shouldn’t have sent it to me like that. They gave me a small discount because I agreed to keep the bumper and try to make it work for me. Good customer service and military/veteran friendly. On a side note, if you purchase this bumper, it is NOT compatible with the full foldable bumper mount rear storage rack offered by another online retailer. The mounts of this pumper sit off the top of the bumper and interfere with the cargo carrier folding all the way up. Modifications to the cargo carrier can be made with a grinder, but it is definitely not an ideal situation. Further, the bumper reinforcement kit will not work with bumper mounted carriers either, as the mounts for the bumper interfere with the mounting bolt pattern for the reinforcement arms. So, with this bumper your options are either a fixed mount (not folding) bumper mount carrier or a hitch mount carrier.

Get a cobalt drill bit
My original factory steel bump literally ripped off when I put too much weight on the bumper. I decided I could either weld a new bumper onto the camper or try one of these bolt-on bumpers. Since I don't know how to weld I went for the bolt-on. I found the install pretty time consuming and difficult, but that was only because drilling into my steel struts was a real pain. Do yourself a favor and get some cobalt drill bits before you start this job. The nut and bolt installation needs a 3/8 and the self tapping install needs an 11/32. I didn't have an 11/32 cobalt bit and neither did any store in my entire city. Having that on hand would have made the job much easier. The best I could do was use a smaller cobalt bit and then switch to a titanium 11/32. I burned several titanium bits and even broke my drill. Anyway, the results were pretty good. The spare tire went back on without any issues. Unfortunately the trailer has been in storage since I put the bumper on so I haven't tested it on the open road yet. The aluminum does tend to scratch but you'd have to get close to notice it. I think it looks good but you can judge for yourself.

It's Bare Aluminum
The brackets, while ingeniously designed, are weird looking once installed. Would be better if powder coated or painted black. Seems very strong and does not deflect. The end cap plates have a "stopper" bolt to keep them from getting lost (I guess), however I had to leave my stopper bolts off because the stopper prevents the cap from opening enough to get your 4" sewer hose end fittings past it, even at an angle. There is a tab on the cap plate that I bent out ever-so-slightly and that provides friction to keep the cap from bouncing out on the road, though there is ZERO information about the cap in the instructions so I have no idea if that is the intended use of the tab I bent.Overall its a pretty neat and strong design but the brackets look odd and get in the way of some bumper bolt-on accouterments. For example I have a swing out BBQ bracket that I wish could go inboard just two more inches but the bumper bracket prevents that (see picture). So consider where your spare tire and other favorite bolt-on bumper ornamentation will go and not block your tail lights or stick out beyond the trailer walls before you purchase this bumper.
