Pomegranate1000-Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults, Edward Hopper's Nighthawks, Matte Finish, Snug Fit

Of the 8 jigsaw puzzles we have discovered since pandemic sheltering, this company’s quality is tops of the bunch. My wife has a degree in fine arts, so the image was a selling point. We were not disappointed! The pieces had a secure and precise fit, so there was few if any “maybe” fits. Certainly the spans on monochrome regions were challenging, but the quality of the printing was stellar and detailed. You could discern Hopper’s brush strokes and even the direction of the crazing of the oil paint to assure your fit was correct. Spending hours with this puzzle gave us a greater appreciation of the artist’s work over spending 10 minutes at a museum with the original would have. It’s definitely a keeper, to assemble again and store for future enjoyment.

Whew, this is one of the most difficult puzzles I've ever assembled, so it was rewarding to pat myself on the back after its completion! "Nighthawks" has always been one of my favorite Hopper paintings, but as a jigsaw puzzle image, all the dark areas make it quite a challenge. I found that there was one bewitching hour during the day that direct sunlight made it easier to differentiate the darkest darks into three target areas of the image. Pomegranate brand puzzles are top quality and a pleasure to work with.

This was a difficult but satisfying puzzle to complete. I like Hopper as an artist, and the printed colors were very vivid. Cat owners should be warned that the puzzle is very appealing to felines. I found the last two pieces of the puzzle under the couch with tiny teeth marks on them.

This Edward Hopper puzzle of his famous painting titled Nighthawks was very challenging. Due to the similar dark colors throughout the puzzle, it took about a week to complete (spending a couple of hours each night working on it). The puzzle had little puzzle dust, the pieces stuck together well and it was durable, sturdy and high quality. If you enjoy this painting as much as I do, the puzzle will be worth your money and time.

The puzzle was pretty challenging. It tool me a whole to finish but I was well worth it to pass more time.

Used this at a graduation party to keep things going. I throw very dull parties. It was a huge success. I invited very dull, but educated people to my party. Kept them all busy while the Cavatini was baking.

Great painting, one of Hopper's finest and certainly best known. Challenging and fun puzzle, but unfortunately one piece was missing, which we did not discover until past the return window.
