Aquafresh Triple Protection Fresh & Minty Toothpaste

I love this toothpaste and I will buy it again. It is also one of seven approved by LeadSafeMama to be lead free. The mint freshness taste is not too harsh so my kids even like using it. They also love that it’s red white and blue like our flag. The texture is smooth and not gritty.

Made in the UK and tested zero lead detection with a third-party tester! Bought for my four year-old. Not too minty to where he doesn’t like it or think it’s “spicy“. Good transition toothpaste for children and also for adults. Breath stays fresh!

I, like everyone, bought this a few months ago due to the no lead study. However purchasing it recently it is a bit weird now? First off it is more expensive now. It use to be 6 now it is 9 bucks. Second, it did not come with a box this time but just wrapped in bubble wrap. Third, the tube itself has changed and a separate sticker label was on the back. If it's still the same product whatever. However if not I will be upset with the price and weird packaging.

Researched for a clean non lead toothpaste and I believe there are only 2 on the market. This is one of them and I feel great knowing my family is safe from lead in this toothpaste. Tastes like normal toothpaste so was not hard to accept this one at all. Look up Lead Safe Mama for other lead safe products.

This is one of the cleanest toothpastes on the market. However, it does have red and blue dye like many others do, but I can overlook that especially since I rinse my mouth good after using it. It is made in the UK so it costs a bit more.

We purchased this toothpaste after discovering that the toothpaste we had used for years tested positive for lead. This toothpaste cleans my teeth well and does not leave a residue or sugary taste in my mouth.

Very disappointing that Aquafresh has changed their formula to include titanium dioxide, a mineral pigment that is mined from ore and can contain trace heavy‑metal contaminants. Titanium dioxide has already been banned in the EU for use in food and supplements, yet it is still permitted in toothpaste. The older Aquafresh Fresh & Minty formula did not contain titanium dioxide and was one of the only fluoride toothpastes I’d found that had tested free of heavy metals, so this reformulation is a step backward for those trying to avoid unnecessary exposure. Lead Safe Mama website tested the older formula and shows a picture with the original ingredient list.
