Yes Laurie, it is most probably the same. Some sellers don't care if they take a loss on a product while others do. I suggest you buy quickly from those who sell so low before they go out of business.

Q: can the horses be replaced if lost or swallowed?

The horses are very small and I haven't seen anywhere where you can just buy the horses. Great fun though. My son was 5 when he got it and hasn't lost anything yet. Has a storage compartment underneath.

Q: Will i get disqualified if i stray out of my lane like the horse in the kentucky derby?

The horses have their own little lanes so straying out of the lane is nearly impossible. However, if that were to happen; it could be left up to the players of the game to decide if your horse was disqualified because the game doesn't come with a rule book.

Q: I've put batteries in and the off switch will not turn the game off. In have to take a battery out to turn it off. What's the solution?

The switch was faulty on the one I bought too. Had to order another one.
