this kit is for anyone that wants to get started in the the art of wood burning . the pen is small in size , and temperature is easy to control . I have a set of wire tip pens , and this makes the perfect companion to those . I would recommend it to advanced users as well . the product seems well made ( unlike some of those kits that you see at the craft stores ) , and I expect for it to last a long time . a tip for beginners though . for wood choice , start with poplar . it's readily available at almost any home improvement store , and while it's a little bit pricier . it's much easier to work with than most pines . I'm very happy with my purchase , and this a great value for the price !

The case that this comes in is great and very convenient for storage. I love the variety of the tools and it seems to be truly an all in one kit with a variety of uses, atleast for my purposes. The instructions are very clear and helpful. It also works quite well. Can't wait to do some projects.

I really was excited for this!! The product for the amount of money was great. However when putting the different tips on, they became lose and wiggley there was no way of tightening them down. Does not work on Really hard surfaces that well. But the crafting wood now it’s works Fantastic

This product was very difficult to use, especially for beginners. My daughter burned herself immediately upon first use. If she had not told me where she burger herself, I would've unknowingly grabbed the same part and burned myself. I could not get a thick line, did not burn wood well, not at all what I recall using with my dad when I was growing up.

I loved this til I broke it. I managed to burn about 40 projects before the tool screw portion became too misshapen to hold the heads anymore. The metal, with the heat, bends when you put too much pressure behind it. Didn't realize what happened til it was too late to repair it. I've been trying to find a replacement for the screw part but have failed so far. I'm still trying to find a pen replacement, but they all come with the heads and it is frustrating. Use a light pressure, this one will break if you are heavy handed.

Body is cheaply made, tips will not stay screwed in for some reason. The entire assembly keeps loosening up during use making it difficult to be precise and difficult to tighten since it’s hot. Would not recommend.
