The media could not be loaded.  For those who don’t know, starch can ruin the texture and taste of your rice, so you need to wash your rice.If you’re a perfectionist and care about your cooking, you wash the white grains before cooking. This practice is also a cultural norm in Asian cooking.However for the longest time washing by hand was so annoying. Ice cold water made your hand freeze, and you really have to spend some time massaging the rice to get the starch off, and it was impossible to drain rice without losing some grains in the process.This tool is a game changer! Made everything way more simple and saves time!It’s so sturdy, it’s easy to wash, and it’s simple and intuitive. I bought two sets and gifted them all to my friends and family.Highly recommend.

The rice washer works very well. I put the rice and water in the rice cooker’s pot, swish and drain a few times. It is easy to take apart and clean but I am not sure if it is dishwasher safe.

It's handy. It's goofy. It does the job pretty well.Unfortunately the notch in the handle sides captures hot water when straining and can lead to burns if you're not careful how you hold it. You also shouldn't use it in soupy or liquidy cooking because it can easily seep into the hrad. Cleaning it isn't hard, but you really shouldn't have to deal with that.If I could redesign this, I'd change the handle design to not catch hot water and use sonic welding to seal the head.

I didn't realize I was getting three so I gave one to my bf and my neighbor. Regardless WOW. What a difference this makes instead of having to use my hands to wash my rice. So easy and fast. Should have bought it sooner.

I love this! This product has solved some issues I had with making rice and helps a ton with rinsing rice without adding extra dishes.
