One ring broke on my first project
I bought this for a hand quilting project. I'm glad there were two in the packet as one broke on my first project. It was supposedly suitable for hand quilting, but I think the two layers of fabric may have been too much for it in this case. Using the second one with success at the moment, but being super careful!

Just what I needed
Fab hoops. Sturdy and well made. No stiffness on the screw. No splitting or splinters unlike cheaper brands

Many of them had warped wood, so did not hold the cotton in place

A bit disappointing
I was a bit disappointed. To be fair, the screw me hanism is strong but as you can see in the pic, the outer hoop doesn't close into a circle and is too big for the inner hoop which is a bit of a problem

All 3 hoops were warped, and so they don't hold fabric well.
