Hero's EdgeG-BL002 Long Foam Excalibur Sword,39",Gray

Our 12yo and 17yo sons have so much fun with these. Whenever friends come, they all want to play with them. The foam has a really satisfying feel and thwack—sensory pleasing—and they’re soft enough not to inflict too much damage.The difficulty is that eventually little bits come off here and there. I planned to have the kids get rid of the broken ones and replace them this year; however, oldest kid objected so strongly because the old ones are so loved. So I said no new ones. A second offer to give away some other items that matched in size so they can keep the old AND get some new ones.

I was afraid this would be a bit heavy or not as long as I would hope. But it came perfectly. I’m using this to be a headless horseman at a local hayride, so it needs to be sturdy enough to hit the wagon, and it is! Not too hard to swing around, exactly what I wanted! Only a 4 star because there were some pieces of the foam that were discolored and the handle isn’t very comfy, but for the price it’s to be expected!

This is a cute sword. I am not using it for any other purpose than as a prop for a "knighting ceremony" for our annual St. Baldrick's head shaving event. It fit this purpose perfectly.

Pretty impressed with the quality considering the price! I will be using this as a prop so I’m not concerned about how it would hold up to LARP combat. I will say, there’s a hole at the tip of the blade, probably the width of the rod at its core. I may leave it as is but maybe with some kind of putty and rub n buff it could be filled.

It arrived a little late, but it is a great product. If I needed a second one, I’d buy this again.

I got this as a prop. I needed something durable that looked the part, but was not metal.I will say that this fits that requirement. I was expecting a more hard foam material and less of a stressball. It also is beat up a bit at the top of the blade. But for the money, I really can’t be surprised or too upset.What I am pretty disappointed about is it does not look like the photo. I liked this because it was not overly shiny and “new” looking. I needed a dark type sword. And the handle is shown and fully black. But the one I got is light grey in areas.Again, for the price it’ll do what I need… but I’ll definitely be painting it and giving it a touch up

if you want it purely for a costume then this is perfect but if you plan to fight at all with this the handle will get some wear and tear also the sword is hard and top heavy. it is also a one handed sword and since its top heavy you might not want to buy this if your hands are big or if you not very strong.overall its OK for sparring for the price and perfect for a costume
