I love this thing! For the price and quality you just cannot go wrong with this moon lamp. I love the fact that you can dim the light, change to many different colors (and ones that don't make me gag), it has fading mode, strobe mode, smooth, and flash. Don't be confused - it isn't flashy strobe effects, it is how the colors change if you want a changing colors setting. You can leave it on one color the entire time if you want to. So you can have gentle and calm lighting when you want it on. It also is cool how it stays on all night.I know people said in the comments that they didn't like the white part on the bottom, but you honestly can't even see it when it's on the base, so that did not bother me at all. It is so cool - I highly recommend!

I had already bought a moon ball for my inner child self. :-D My nephew stays over at times and loved it, so I gave it to him.So I decided to purchase this earth ball, and I like it even more! So many colors and different effects to choose from, and adjusting the brightness is great as it can work as a nightlight for my nephew. He just loves playing with the remote -- he especially loves the "flash" effect. But he always ends up on his favorite color...blue!I love that the "white" mode is an accurate representation of earth's colors, and I also like playing around with the green effects (although all the colors look pretty awesome, especially bright red and fushia). The "fade" effect is my personal favorite.Overall, a great purchase for both kids or adults who enjoy a little childlike fun!

I am giving this galaxy lamp 4 stars because it did not look like the picture in the description, of a white lamp with rainbow- pastel streaks. I included a picture and it was completely different colors, much darker than I had wanted. However, if you turn the lamp, it has a lighter side, which is prettier. The battery life seems pretty good, I charged it for about 3-4 hours, like it says in the instructions, and the lights lasted all night and even a few hours in the day. But no matter what the lamp looks like in the day, in the night it is INCREDIBLE. The lights are absolutely beautiful when turned on, especially with the blue setting. The remote is extremely easy to use, and you can set the lamp to fade/flash from different colors to another, or you can just leave it on one color the whole night. As a teenage girl, this lamp is a must-have! The stars in the lamp are beautiful to gaze at at night, and it looks nice next to my betta aquarium. 😊I reccomend this lamp, but do know what it looks like in the daytime. Only setback I had.

My niece has not used it yet,but i opened to look. It is as i expected the colours are perfect and i know she will enjoy. it seems well made and durable the variety of clours and landscapes are what she is looking for. it will make a perfect gift for girls or boys.

This is so much better than I expected it to be when I bought it. When it comes out of the box, it's not particiularly attractive, nor are the colors. But that's because it's not lit up. But as soon as you plug it in, that all changes. The array of colors and tones is extensive and quite beautiful -- much prettier than any of the photos in the listings or in the reviews. We set it to change colors very gradually, but there are a number of other settings that can be used. My nephew loves it.He's using an adapter for the USB plug so he can charge it from a wall outlet.I think that calling it a "lamp" can be a little misleading. It's not the kind of lamp that you can pick up a book and read by. But it's a great room decoration for a child and also a good night light.

The light is brighter or dimmer according to the color chosen. If it is place high enough, it helps add to reading experience. Or you can just look at it for its beauty. I got mine for Christmas and it is still working. No problems. The battery charge is good for 6-8 hours. I am very pleased with it, especially when I make it look like the Moon.

The cord was easily worn and now has broke. How do I get a new cord?

Bought as a gift. Tested it before hand. Its beautiful. Colors are bright. Love the remote control and that it has a usb cable. No batteries needed.

This moon light is beautiful, works just as expected, my Son is 18 years old and he loves it he uses it every night...

Cheap plastic rough ball with changing light colours. If this is your jam go for it. For me it’s such a waste of money.Not worth 5.00$ or at a dollar store sale.Not for me, returned!iNiko
