Vitamix Personal Cup and Adapter

Great job Vitamix. I have an older legacy model and the containers make too much or everything. With this attachment I can make smoothies, sauces enough for 1 or 2 people. Very happy, easy to use, and the quality is what Vitamix is known for. Thank you

These have a couple serious annoyances, but I still love them and recommend them. My vitamix is SO much better at blending than any personal blender on the market, and the cups provide good-enough convenience for daily use. I’ve been a devoted fan of my vitamix for over a decade, but I got really tired of handwashing the pitcher every day just for a single smoothie. (The pitcher is soo tall, and the base is soo narrow, and the blades are so sharp and destroyed every spatula, and every cleaning tool just wasn’t great for it. And the short pitcher style wasn’t as good at blending.) So I bought a nutribullet personal size blender. And while I loved the convenience (blades are a small puck and are easy to hand clean! cups are dishwasher safe!) the actual blending was majorly sub-par. Like realllly bad. I’ve just been too spoiled by Vitamix blending—even kale becomes silky smooth and invisible in a smoothie. I don’t remember how I happened upon this set. It hadn’t occurred to me that there might be personal cup blending for my Vitamix. But here it is, and now I use it every day. Despite the annoyances, this set facilitates the amazing Vitamix blending power and dials up the convenience a bit, and the combination works for me better than the NB (which was more convenient but worse blending). If you like daily green smoothies and hate drinking specks of kale, you may love this set too. The annoyances do exist, and you should know them before you buy. The blades segment has an attached shield that is almost as tall as a pitcher! It’s annoying to screw on and off a cup. Also mildly insulting, like training wheels, because Vitamix apparently doesn’t trust users to properly screw a (non-shielded) blade puck on? I had zero issue with leaking. (Note the instructions, which advise really tightening the blade housing to the cup, but doing a much gentler tightening with the sippy lids.) And the cups. The bottom is so narrow that even with my small-ish hands I can’t get all the way to the bottom. So far the dishwasher has been sufficient, but I’m going to need to buy a “sponge on a stick” tool because protein powder will get stuck and defeat the dishwasher eventually. The cups also aren’t really stackable. I’m guessing the cup shape is required for the vortex that makes Vitamix such an amazing blender? There’d be no other reason for such an awkward shape. Also, I wish I could buy more cups separately.

Dos vasos, no me lo puedo creer y de tan excelente calidad. Funcionan perfecto con la misma base de la licuadora. Recomiendo preguntar primero al proveedor si el modelo de licuadora que se tiene (de Vitamix, por supuesto) es compatible con los vasos. El molido, como siempre, deja una muy buena textura en los alimentos y como se muele directo en el vaso, solo se tiene que usar la propia tapa transportar el alimento.

. Es costoso pero se nota la calidad del material (a mí parecer es aún mejor que el vaso incluido en la Vitamix), es súper fácil de usar y práctico; la tapa cierra muy bien y no tiene fugas
