Borderlands 2: Add-on Content Pack - Playstation 3

The add-ons are a great, fun & easy way to level up quickly & go back & complete the main mission, Gearbox has made 2 more that I'm aware of, & I will purchase these also.

Greetings.Totally agree with the sensibly critical review of this add-on for the game (what?!?). Folks that are able to take advantage of the season pass, etc., should stop reading this review and "go do that"...This product:1. duplicated offerings2. overpriced duplicated offerings3. requires a separate "real" game discThat having been said, the add-ons are top-quality and top-notch. No difficulty in installation, version conflicts, etc. (which seem to happen with other properties almost all the time).So, why would/should anyone get this? There are many folks that for a variety of reasons want a pressed disc for their content, and while the eventual release of a GOTY edition is likely, "when?" comes to mind. The last mission for the DLC associated with Seasons Pass hasn't even been released yet.For even more gamers, there is a host of resentments and hangups about everything from non-dependability of the PS Network to the sketchiness of DLC handling. There are a ton of coop gamers who are not on network... and the reason they are not factored into these discussions and development adequately is because (drum roll) they are not on network. These include the folks that don't want to waste an afternoon arguing over a code. Personally, I am thunderstruck over the crappy connectivity and poor play experiences folks are willing to suffer through when they could be NATing or local. It is a different culture, and the folks with the functional pipe are certainly on the cutting edge of play experience and game culture. This disc offering is a solution for folks that can't or won't go there.

Fans of crazy adventures will love this add on pack. If youve played Borderlands 2 then this is a must. Its the same things youve come to expect from the Borderlands universe and thats a good thing.

Next time I'll have to read the info a little better. This is only the first two DLC and other tidbits. It'd be cheaper to just buy the main game and then the season pass.

keep you entertained forever......make sure you keep everything and upgrade storage capacity for weapons and bank to sell or decide whether you need them later.Also when you die it cost money to bring you back so learn to grab everything available and be your own pawn dealer avoid weapons from them unless absolutely needed keep all types of weapons available for a smooth killing adventure.this game will test your patience for the first 30 or 40 missions and not all missions are storyline missions so be patient and gain XP to be a ruthless killing machine don't use you golden key unless needed at a higher level for better gear and go to borderlands online for more of em

This WAS a pretty good value before the GOTY edition came out. Go buy that instead. You'd end up paying more money if you bought all the extras one by one. Even if you already have the originaly game, the GOTY version will save you money in the long run. BUT if you're not interested in all that other stuff, this bonus pack has some awesome stuff. The Mechromancer is a great class.

Overall the game is superb. You can't get bored of this game. It also has much more dlc content which includes more campaign.

I find it a waste of a disc to put add-ons on, they are so small. Try and find used, since it will not matter. Data stays on disc after installing, save your money DO NOT BUY NEW. Only briefly played on Pirates Booty & Mr. Tourge campaign so I have no review on that. I did notice when the Tourge on started, the person who is voicing him is the voice of Hurcule from DBZ English Dub
