A solid phone for the savvy consumer
This is a well-made phone it won't creak in the hand like some budget phones at this price point, I buy Nokia for the guaranteed three years security updates and the promise of Android 11 &12 upgrades, it should see me through the next two to three years. Nokia is an ideal brand for a middle-aged person like me who is not chasing the latest thing just reliability and competent technology and with NFC allows me to pay for shopping under £45.The cameras are fine for general photos but don't expect prize-winning shots it is a £149 phone after all, video recording could do with image stabilization and I'd have happily sacrificed the option of 4K recording for it. The 4GB memory allows for smooth lag-free app use and the 64GB storage allows for plenty of apps and I added 256GB micro SD card for extra storage for my music and photos/video. Not sure my eyes can tell the difference in the screen between 720HD and 1080HD the screen bright and good for use in all light conditions and I'm told the slightly lower resolution helps with better battery performance it lasts all day then I put it on charge overnight for the next day.The only negative is the fingerprint scanner that takes a few days after you first set up to get used to you, then it seems to work fine but takes a couple of seconds lag before it opens the phone up. Cases seemed to be fin on the ground and involve waiting weeks for them to arrive from China, so I brought an old-style MoKo phone pouch/holster that fits a phone upto 6.8 inches and is a great fit for this phone to stop scratches while in my handbag.A phone for adults who can understand its never going to be an Apple or Samsung phone ten times more expensive but as a general phone to use with a sim only deal it has all you need.

It's better than an iPhone 6
I've been using Apple for 10 years but got annoyed with storage limitations and battery issues. I decided to migrate to an Android phone, as my husband's been using it for a year now, and he's very happy with it.I compared some options in the market within the same price range and decided to give Nokia a try, as this is the brand of my first mobile back 20 years ago, and although I thought they stopped in time, they seem to have pretty decent smartphones launched recently. By reading the reviews and comparing processor speed, storage capacity, camera features, and battery life, and I thought they deserved a chance.I admit that I'm really impressed with this phone, it's modern, it's very fast, the resolution is excellent, and the screen is way bigger than my previous iPhone 6 which was a great surprise when I opened the box. Plus it gives you the option of inserting an extra mini SD card to increase space without getting tied with a cloud-based subscription forever. I attached a picture comparing the sizes. It demands a bit of time to learn the gestures and settings, but nothing bad. I got pretty used to it in a couple of days. The battery is lasting easy more than 2 full days which is amazing. I didn't test all camera features yet, even though I got really nice shots using portrait mode, and also in low luminosity too as you can see. The macro isn't as crisp as the portrait but I'm not expecting a miracle, as I have a DSLR camera to take macro shots whenever I need high-quality ones, so this is no a big deal particularly for me.The only dislike I'd say is the position of the earphone jack at the upper side, but this is me being picky. All in all, this is a fantastic mobile for the price, it's really worth it. I couldn't have made a better choice! Thanks Nokia, I'm a fan again.

You get alot for the price of this phone!
You get alot on this phone considering how much it costs! Usually manufacturers skimp out somewhere e.g lack of NFC, but I'm pleased to say this phone will likely have everything you need. It's a jack of all trades if you will.Screen:Screen is good, gets quite bright and is nice and clear.Speaker:Speaker gets quite loud, but the speaker can get muffled by your hand as it's a single downwards firing speaker.Calls:Call quality is quite good, nice and clear.Cameras:Cameras are ok, I don't really see the point of the macro camera. But hey, it's there if you need it. Quality is ok, nothing amazing but it gets the job done. However, the camera app needs some work. For some reason the camera app doesn't fill the whole screen, causing letterboxes on the top and bottom. No idea why Nokia did this.Battery:Seems promising so far, 4000mah is quite big so it's pretty much guarenteed to last all day.Performance:Performance is great for day to day tasks, seems to keep up well. However some performance dips are to be expected in more demanding tasks such as intensive games e.g Call of Duty Mobile.Android skin:This device runs stock Android with a few extras thrown in by Nokia. It's as smooth as butter, was honestly quite surprised at how smooth it is.Additional positives:-The power button is also an LED notification light.-The Cyan blue is really nice.-You can have two sim cards and a Micro SD at the same time.-NFC is supported.-Type-C connector.-Android 10.What's in the box?:-Phone (of course)-Charger-Charging cable-3.5mm Earphones (they're not great)-Instruction books-Sim card ejection toolNegatives:Only one I can think of at the moment, is that you don't get a case with the phone. Some phones include a case in the box, but this one doesn't unfortunately.
