Bct15-x cable
Purchased this to replace a cable that had degraded over the years. Decided to give this one a try as it was the cheapest option available. Worked straight out of the bag with no problems at all as the FTDI chip is onboard the cable. Only thing to be aware of is the arrow at the top of the plug needed to be at the bottom when inserting in the scanner. (Was also the same on the previous cable so may well be the way the Bearcat socket was is mounted.) Fast delivery and would recommend.

Works with Uniden BCT15X absolute bargain at £17 I would recomend this product for tranfering frequencies to freescan and then adding them to your scanner

USB DATA CABLE
I purchased this cable in order to programme frequencies into my uniden 3500xlt as programming manually is rather time consuming it was delivered on time and seems good quality, the mini USB fits the scanner input really good and not loose like an earlier review mentioned, I'm very pleased with the purchase as it make programming the scanner easy along with freescan software I installed on my laptop, I can recommend this cable .

Poor Fit On Some Radios
The mini USB plug on this cable is a very poor fit on the sockets of the Uniden BCT3500XLT and BCT15X. In both cases it only just makes contact and is easily dislodged. That said, once the cable has been (very carefully) connected, it works perfectly with Freescan on Windows 10 with no additional drivers required.
