Germs vs. Soap: A Silly Hygiene Book about Washing Hands! (Hilarious Hygiene Battle) Review: My preschoolers loved this! - Awesome book for teaching about germs, especially during sick season! I would recommend to any teacher or parent! The book does a wonderful job explaining how and why we need to wash hands and a little on what germs are! 10/10! Review: Hand washing just got FUN! - Germs VS. Soap is the perfect educational tool for getting dirty hands clean (for children and adults alike)! This FUN and easy to read story gives a fresh spin on washing hands by sharing the perspective of germs (which I had no idea could have such hilarious personalities). The graphics are colorful and clever and the vocab is very memorable so it will help kids remember why it's important to wash hands, use soap and get rid of all those germ loving energy cupcakes. This will be a MUST read in my classroom (and maybe even at the start of play dates at home too). Bottom line, if you need a book to teach your kids the important life skill of hand washing, THIS IS IT.

Funny, Engaging Story that Gets the Point Across in an Entertaining Way!
Very engaging. Read it to my six-year-old grandson and he enjoyed it a lot, even though he doesn't like to be read to and doesn't like to wash his hands! Not too babyish and not too technical. Has some funny parts and gets the point across in an entertaining story. I highly recommend this book for kids in the age range preschool through about third grade. Very worthwhile purchase!

Germs book ( Covid times)
Such a cute book. A bit wordy for younger kids but, super cute.

Great for teaching handwashing
Germs are a really obscure concept for kindergarteners, but this book provides a wonderful (and silly) explanation of what they are and how to keep our bodies healthy through handwashing. Depending on the group, I do sometimes edit out some of the germs' commentary (it can be a little distracting from the point of the story and the potty talk can be distracting for some groups), but overall I really enjoy having this book on hand and the kids love reading (and rereading) it throughout the year.

cute, but too advanced for my class
super cute book! however, i sadly can't use it in my class. i, personally, feel it is too advanced for the age i teach (pre-k, 4-5). no fault to the author though! i would definitely recommend it for older children. bonus stars because it was a returnless refund, so i get to keep it! which will be great for teacher friends, future age groups i might teach, or even with my own kids someday!

The first time I read this book to my 3 year old, he went to wash his hands in six steps as mentioned in the book. Nice book. Definitely recommended.

I got this for my preschool class. They loved it! It explains how germs work in a way that children understand! And it’s characters are relatable, Arnold is hilarious.

The kids at my centre absolutely adore this book! A fun and easy way to learn about germs and how to properly wash hands + why we do it, especially during these times when cleanliness is so important. The kids ask me to read this book to them over and over, it became one of their favourites instantly.

Super impressed with this book! The students are loving it! Lots of out loud laughs! One of the best features is the note at the back from the author telling readers that this book was rejected 43 times and that’s why it’s independently published... pretty powerful to share and talk about that with students.

Great story about germs and hand washing. Love the illustrations! Unfortunately the story is a bit above my Kindergartner’s level (due to length/amount of information provided) but I will save it and still use it thanks the wonderful illustrations and visuals. Thanks!
