I wish I could recommend this product, because the snaps themselves are actually very nice, and can work well. I applied black snaps to a white button down, replacing the buttons, and when I washed them they are still on fine, no transfer of color. I was a little worried because under the washer/stud you can see slight discoloration since applying them.The problem is the tool they gave to hammer the pieces together. It is too thick to fit inside the washer, meaning you cannot properly hammer down the inside of the stud. This leaves the washer/stud side very loose, which makes me feel like it's going to come apart at any time.The cover/socket side works great but, without a secure washer/stud, it is worrying. Really wish the tool was a tiny bit smaller, or the washer was slightly thicker, because then this would be a great buy. Now I'm on the hunt for a tool that will successfully secure the washer/stud side.

There were no installation instructions, so had to refer to the online listing instructions. The hole punch shown in video wasn't included, but I didn't need it as I was replacing bad snaps. The reason these snaps didn't work for me was because the cap's gold shaft was too short to fit my thicker boat strap. If it was as long as the silver shaft, it would have worked.

These snaps are probably not going to be as good as the originals on your clothing, but they're pretty good. It included instructions, but still took a little noodling to figure out how all the pieces fit together. I re-did the cuff on a leather jacket and the wasteband on a pair of cargo pants.

I still need to figure out how to use these because there wasn’t any instructions.

Easy to use for fixing a snap cuff on a jacket with the cover and socket piece. I held the two pieces between the rod and block tools provided then lightly tapped the rod with a hammer to secure them. It was able to snap back into the original connector with no issues.
