Cute ideas
The best part I've discovered with Kindle unlimited is that instead of a sample of a book, you get to see the whole thing and then judge if you would like to purchase the book. I am an artist and found this book appealing to me. I have 2 grand daughters and I love encouraging their crafty side. Unfortunately the projects here were too simplistic for their age. I'm definitely going to make them each a kit for the Tie Dyed shoelaces.

Hours of fun for my daughter and me!
I bought this for my daughters birthday in August 2016. We make sure to do at least one craft a week. She LOVES this book. She insists we do all crafts in order which is fine except that I feel some are for younger children. Most supplies are standard household items, and the ones we didn't have we were able to get at the dollar store for about $10 total. In a time where it seems like everyone is obsessed with television and video games, this has been such a refreshing item to have in our house.

Great book for connecting with grandchildren.
My 5 year old granddaughter was spellbound by this book. She marked with sticky notes all the crafts we will do together. She told her mom about this wonderful book at Grandma's house. We've done two crafts already and she and I really had fun. Thanks. This book connected us better than looking at Pinterest would have accomplished. That's what I was going for, along with finding easy to make fun things that didn't cost a great deal.

Fun if you like to follow directions.
This was ok but the materials were too specific. If you are not very creative and if you have all of this stuff to do exactly how it says, you would love it! Age 4-10.

The Perfect Craft Book for Elementary Age Kids!
If you are a parent who wants to encourage your child's creativity without actually having to sit down and craft with them, this is the book for you! The instructions in the book are so easy to follow, young children can craft to their heart's content with little to no adult assistance. It's wonderful. My 7-year-old loves this book and I love that he loves it. It's a big hit in our house!

READ BEFORE BUYING!
Be aware that this is really a craft book for doing crafts with really LITTLE kids. Most of the projects here are the kind that might be fun to make but shortly end up in the trash (like: animals made out of toilet paper tubes, a Paper plate ring toss game, A necklace made of colored plastic straws...) so if you were looking for a craft book on how to upcycle with free items around your home, this is not it. I still gave the book 4 stars even though it's not what I had in mind because I can easily do these with my 4 year old and we can have a lot of fun together. Still, I can count on one hand how many of these ideas would last as something I could actually keep around the house (such as wind chimes made of old painted keys, and sculptures made of sticks wrapped with yarn).
