Sturdy for larger adults
It is sturdy but heavier than I realized it would be. The thing that is great is it feels totally sturdy for larger people. It is great for camping or the back yard. Easy to assemble and to break down and put in its handy case.

Excellent Product!
Very well built will hold two adults in a hammock quite easily anywhere, anytime. I believe it's rated for 650 lbs. A little heavy but, it is easily carried in the canvas bag that comes with it. Easy to assemble with plenty of adjustments for various hammocks. Greatest part it will get you off the ground even if there are no trees around. Perfect for a garden area, the local field or park for star gazing at night, or a sunny day beach setup. Or simply place in your front or back yard, or even indoors of your home. Well worth the investment.

Love it! Easy to assemble, love that it’s portable…put it in my guest room in the winter, used it there all the time!

carrying case sucks
The stand is easy to assemble and is very sturdy holds hammock very well with no bending. The main trouble is with the carrying case. It sucks. You can't get the stand into it and zip it up. Ended uppushing one end of a piece threw the end of the case. It needs to be about 3 or 4 inches longer and alsothe same around. It is way to small for the stand and is like a Chinese puzzle trying to get it in.

Super sturdy and easy to assemble
This is very sturdy! It was easy to assemble! I set it up incorrectly for our hammock initially (I know it’s wrong in the picture). This is a large hammock and I now realize that you can have it run over the u shapes at the top! It is super convient and comfy! You don’t feel unstable in this! I was really impressed!

As described.
Easy to assemble, so far holding up. Switched from a bed to sleeping in a hammock and my back & hips find it glorious.

Great ... But it Will Slowly Destroy Any Hammock You Hang in It
Overall this is a pretty decent hammock stand, for the price. It feels a bit flimsy, but it was easy enough to assemble, and once assembled it holds well ... as long as you tighten the screwed-in parts every few weeks.I'd give it a 4 (or like a 4.4), except for one fatal design flaw. At the end of each post you screw in a hook, to hold the hammock itself. That hook is on the far side, but the bit that it screws into sticks out onto the side with the hammock.Your hammock will rest against this metal bit just fine ... if you never ever move. But, if you actually sway at all in your hammock (and who doesn't want to wing a little in a hammock?) this metal bit will slowly saw away at the hammock itself, cutting the strings one at a time.I tried using an extra rubber bit that came with the stand to cover this metal part, and it *kind of* works (it looks a little funny, but it protects the hammock). However, if your hammock is outdoors, you can't leave the rubber bits on, because they'll get blown off. I tried rubber-banding them to stay on, but the rubber bands died in a few days (they're not designed for the outdoors). You could glue the rubber bits on, but then you wouldn't be able to tighten the hook, or loosen it if you want to take things apart. It's super frustrating, because if they had just designed things better, they easily could have made a slightly-tighter rubber bit that stays on, or included some way to fasten it to the stand. On the plus side, hammocks are cheap (you can buy them on the streets of Mexico for <$20!), and it takes awhile for the stand to saw the hammock strings (I used it all summer and it cut only three strands completely off, which still left a plenty usable hammock, as long as I tied the cut strings back together). So buy it if you want a decent/cheap stand ... but don't use any hammock you're attached to with it.
