This thing is MUCH heavier than I expected, and is built like a tank. Both the tamper and leveler work perfectly once it's "dialed in" for your portafilter/dose. The little silicon mat is a nice touch, too. 10/10, highly recommend this!

Not sure how I like it. I feel like the distributor is ok, but the tamper side isn't really needed and I'll tell you why. I feel this is true or any of these tools.The palm tamper is a great idea but there's a flaw. 1st you want to adjust the depth. This gives you a nice even tamp because it sits level in the portafilter. The problem arises when you change the grind size or the amount of coffee..Say you normally use 18g and you set it for 18g. If you reduce amount or change the grind size, you'll need to adjust the setting on the tamper. If you don't, the tamper may not put enough pressure on your grounds. If you put in more coffee, you may not be able to get the tamper seated and end up with an uneven tamp or put too much pressure on it. Remember, this is true for any of these palm tampers.As for this tool, I don't know if the threads for adjustment weren't cut right or what, but it's a pain to adjust. It keeps getting stuck, and I've had to muscle it a bit.Overall, I'm glad I have it because it gives me the opportunity to use it as needed. It's just not as helpful as I had originally expected.

So glad I made this purchase. It takes the guesswork out of shot distribution and tamping. Easy to adjust for accurate pressure for every shot. Once you find the best pressure for your shot, you can lock it in place so that you never have to adjust it again. Very well made and a must have for making great expresso.

First didn't like this product, but after learning to use it I'm finally sold own it. Use it every day.

Nice weight. Stainless steel looks good. Easy to adjust. I have both sides dialed in for my Breville Duo Temp Pro. With my Breville Smart Grinder Pro and naked portafilter, I pull smooth, even shots with no splatter.

This tamper insures that your coffee grounds are tamped evenly and level across the portafilter. Fully adjustable on both sides. I have the tamper set a slight bit lower than the distributor side and the tamping is identical time after time. Highly recommended.
