Thank you to the author for sharing his insights and talents with the world! His words are both inspiring and informative as I head into distance learning with my special needs son this fall. I gave up my job in order to be there for him as he struggles with 5th grade online with little to no support from his school. This book is truly the first time that I’ve seen an actual framework for how to create your own luck, and steps that you can take to position yourself for amazing things to happen. The changes are easy to implement, clear, and actionable. I’m surprised there hasn’t been anything like this before. It can really turn your life around—especially if you’re not always a positive person (like me, inadvertent Negative Nancy over here). Once you read about creating and strengthening a Serendipity Mindset you can’t really go back to how it was before. Highly recommend. Even if you don’t read the whole thing it will positively impact your life forever.

There are lots of helpful suggestions given in this challenging and practical book.

It's a great title and concept - take advantage of serendipitous events, and make more of them; make acquaintances that will be useful in the future.But it's a slow, dry read. The examples you've heard before (Do you know how Post-Its were discovered?). There's a very few of his own - but repeated multiple times, and feel mostly like ads for joining the author's companies/groups. It's really a 'textbook' - fully 1/3 of the book is footnotes, references, indices.I wish I had those hours back (I was stubbornly reading it to get my money's worth I thought).

So much good wisdom! Paying more attention is within my power. Life changing!

I don’t write reviews often, but this book is something truly special. Christian is able to put into words something that many of us might have experienced or observed here and there, but haven’t been able to necessarily synthesize or understand. He seamlessly is able to explain the process and gives lovely real world examples that he has experienced first hand throughout the book. The exercises that he included are very thought provoking and helped me deepen my understanding of serendipity and my perception and experience with it.

Serendipity mindset is one of the best books I have read in recent years.Motivational, practical, modern & fresh, and to the point! Life-changing how you don’t have to wait for luck, but you can make it happen.I highly recommend it for personal reading and as an excellent gift for others!

Yes, luck favors the curious and prepared mind. Being open, aware and able to connect the dots is smart. That's all that needed to be said.
