Super Bright Yellow Light Led Replacement Bulb Single Mode P60 LED Drop-in Module Design for Surefire Hugsby C2 G2 Z2 6P 9P G3 S3 D2 Ultrafire 501B 502B and Other Hunting Flashlights

I was concerned about selecting the correct item for my flashlight as it is an older SureFire model that I purchased more than 12 years ago. The original bulb was bright but it also depleted batteries very quickly and the flashlight itself would heat up during use. This new LED replacement bulb is extremely bright! It fits in the flashlight perfectly (I did have to remove the outer spring as others have posted in the comments). I had this flashlight stashed away in a drawer and didn't use it anymore but now I'm going to keep it in my purse. So glad to have renewed it with a new, better bulb.

The diameter of 3/4 inch in the listing is wrong the diameter of this is 7/8 inches

Picked up both the 850 and 940nm IR versions, using them in my old Surefire G2 bodies. As mentioned by others, the spring is too big and should be pulled off. It still barely fits, but the shell makes contact with the battery sleeve and it works. One unit was DOA but was replaced quickly. To the naked eye, the 850nm has a red glow, 940 is barely noticeable. Through a Gen 3 PVS-14, the 940 would make a good navigational light - it's visible, but it doesn't have a huge throw. The 850 is VERY bright, and causes the gain to cut back. Great for longer distances or breaking through a photonic barrier. I'm waiting on a Surefire IR filter to compare to the OEM bulb. Had these just a few days so I can't say much on durability yet. Each one may not be a perfect light, but both are good tools for their purpose, and at a good price compared to high end dedicated IR illuminators.

Super bright compared to the old filament bulb. Uses less power so battery should last much longer than the one hour of filament bulb. Fits well but… I had to remove the spring before it would fit in a 6P Surefire light.

I purchased this to replace an original P60 from my SureFire G2 that I purchased around 2005. Today's LEDs put the old incandescent lights to shame and because of this, my G2 has been in the closet for many years. I found this drop in replacement after speaking with a friend and I am amazed at how much brighter this red LED replacement is than the original incandescent light. While we all know that red or green filters reduce the visual output but this is a surprising upgrade. Now I've got a great light to get in and out of the deer stand.As others have said before, to replace my P60 for my G2, you will have to remove the larger spring. I cannot comment on the longevity of the LED but for the price and the output, I am a happy customer.

Very bright, but not quite as bright as the rating would suggest. So far I am quite happy given the price point, but I can't just how durable it may be.

It is not identical to a regular P60 bulb, it is longer and won't let the head fit all the way on the way it is supposed to fit!

Like the title, Surefire Shotgun Forend replacement for Rem 870. Removed the large outer spring, stretched the smaller inner spring to OAL of about 3/4". Very bright, way brighter than the OG incandescent. Saved me $400 on a new forend or like $200 I think for the Surefire upgrade kit. Super satisfied.
