Great for making tough or low fat steaks great
Poke holes in the steak, add big flake salt, flip and repeat. Wrap in wax paper and let sit on the counter for an hour then cook. It is consistently the best steaks I've ever had. Better than Longhorn, Outback, or any of those places. Used for multipurposes
This item was recommended for use on blueberries and strawberries before freeze-drying. it worked perfectly. While I have occasionally used it for meats, I use it mostly for fruits with canning and freeze-drying. it is very sturdy and strong the grip handle is good and it does not slip. I would recommend this product not only to meat lovers, but also for gardeners and canners.

I use this when I make Cantonese Crispy Pork Belly (Siu Yuk). Makes lots of holes in the pork rind. A professional tool orth every penny

Love this tool to prep meat for added absorption of marinade/rub when tenderizing meat over night.

It's ok, but not nearly as good as blade type.
Needles point in all different directions, warpage of base plate from welding process, it's not real easy to get the thing out of the meat after you pound it in, you need about as much effort to get it out of the meat as getting it in.. Use issues aside and after some use I can see I prefer the blade type that cut the meat not this type that seems to stretch and tear the meat and seems to be less effective at generating more surface area. It seems to be less effective for enhancing marinating process as well.Just not my cup of tea.

Bomb proof; no gimmicks
This tenderizer is made like a tank. There are no gimmicks or sliding doohickeys. It is just solid stainless steel. It is well worth the price!!!
