Got these for my daughter and she absolutely loves them,easy to set up and use.

Lights are perfect not as bright as others but good light anyway!

About 20% of the lights are now a different colour to what button you press. The adhesion is pretty poor too, gorillaGlue needed to make them stick

This is a 15m set, and that was the perfect amount to cover the top of all four walls in our small-mid size computer room, within coving. This is based on 5050 RGB emitters run at 24v, and is the stock bare strip, so there's no silicone layer on top to quickly discolour which is good. When the arrived the first thing I did was to test these whilst they were still on the roll and there's obviously a reason they say not to do that, all coiled up these will generate a lot of heat! It's not an issue when they're spread out so just remember to unroll them. The remote is powered by a CR2025 which are really easy to source replacements for, and it's a larger black version compared to the generic white ones that seem to be most common in sets like this. The slow fades are my personal favourite and this set didn't have any 'hard steps' that I noticed when it loops back around so that's a positive. Good value for a bulk pack kit, this has everything in it t get going, and seems to work best when the LED's are lighting indrectly so you're not looking directly at the modules because there's no diffusion, but they give off a strong light because they're 24v modules. Super easy plug and play.

The media could not be loaded.  This is an initial review as I have not yet measures power consumption and heat.I purchased this product for the kitchen and to link into my smart home. Coupled with a zwave plug (will also work with WiFi plug)I can toggle the lights on and off. The device remembers the last state so it makes turning it into a night light triggered on motion very easy.The power adapter and brick is standard, nice length of cable. The led strip is no different to others and the connector all the same. The kit also comes with an extra pin incase you break the original and both ends of the led strip can be used.All standard electronics and easy to work with if you decide to use the fibaro universal sensor to link in.Out of the 5 sellers of led strips this seller was the only one to reply and Comms was good.The mains power is much better than usb

Very good product and fairly easy to install. The instructions are so incomplete that they are of no use at all. Tricky to start the tape off but once started easy to put in place. Took my 12 year old daughter about 2 minutes to work out the controls, would have taken me about 2 years. Overall effect is excellent and only minor criticism would be the short length of the power lead.

Mine caught on fire! I was so upset but soon discovered a pice of plastic from the casing had fused it’s self to the plug in post and started to smoke, I was in the bathroom at the time and they started to flicker on and off. For a while they would make crackling noises but when I came back from the bathroom there was a small flame. Nothing I couldn’t put out with a harsh blow but if I hadn’t of caught it then who knows what state I would be in now. I assume it was just a faulty batch of product but up until that point performance was exactly as expected and I was really happy. Just inspect the product by all plug points before putting them up.

Installing one of the 2 reels of lights and it ripped, very easily, the remote doesn’t press the correct light colour, and the connection to the power is loose, have had to use tape to stay connected
