Bilt Hamber Auto Foam (5 Litre)

I had previously tried AutoGlym snow foam, but after washing my car with it, the car looked almost the same as if I had simply rinsed it with water. A lot of the dust and dirt was still there. So I decided to give Bilt Hamber Auto Foam a try. I didn’t expect a miracle, even though I had seen plenty of good reviews — especially because AutoGlym has even more highly rated reviews. My car hadn’t been washed for 7 days and had plenty of insects stuck to the front. It was also covered in road grime after driving around 300 miles during the week. I mixed 40ml of concentrate with 700ml of water, which is slightly more than the recommended dilution. I applied it to the completely dry car. Interestingly, the car wasn’t covered in thick, heavy foam like it was with AutoGlym, so I thought to myself, this isn’t going to clean much at all. I left it for 5 minutes and then rinsed the car thoroughly with a 160-bar pressure washer. Then came the real test. I grabbed my drying towel. With AutoGlym, I used to find that the towel would turn black almost immediately after the first contact with the paint because so much dirt was still left behind. But this time, after rinsing the Bilt Hamber Auto Foam off, the drying towel looked almost completely clean. The foam had taken the dirt away with it. I genuinely couldn’t believe I didn’t need to go around the whole car rubbing it by hand — I could simply rinse it and dry it. Another thing I really liked is that the foam disappears from the asphalt very quickly. With AutoGlym, I often had to wait around half an hour, and there would still be foam left around the wheels and on the ground, making it difficult to drive away without bringing foam everywhere. I haven’t yet tested it on a completely filthy car, but based on this first wash, I’m already extremely happy with the result. And here’s the crazy part: I only used 40ml of concentrate for one wash. A 5-litre bottle contains 5,000ml, which means that’s enough for approximately 125 washes. 😄 If I used to pay around £7 per wash, that would be £875 worth of washes. I think that says everything. Absolutely impressed with this product and I’ll definitely keep using it.

This is great value and great price, I try always to have decent snow foam, misguided gets clumpy. Although stick is good,very pricy. This do a year of car washes, great product

Easy to use and mixed easily. I tried it in 2 snow foam cannons and both produced decent amount of foam. First cannon was a Karcher one supplies with my pressure washer which is only small less than half a litre filled maybe but worked well enough but was used up quickly. Then tried snother 1 litre cannon, produced good thick foam 👌 which clung well to car and rinsed off easily. Smells OK too. Overall good stuff. Dispatched really quickly from Opie Oils much faster than Amazon had quoted.

A very good and safe way to contactless pre wash your vehicle - definitely one of the better pre washes on the market. Bilt Hamber uses PIR (panel impact ratio) to calculate the correct mix ratio of product/water so you are always going to get good results as the mix ratio is calculated to the performance (flow rate) of your pressure washer. It is very easy to calculate, instructions are on the container or can be found online. Overall the results are very good; it is not a high foaming product as some pre washes are, but thick foam does not mean good performance. Leave to dwell for 5 minutes then rinse, all light dirt will be gone and any heavy soiling will have been softened, making it easier to remove with the pressure washer or by hand. A useful thing to do if you have heavily soiled wheels & tires with plenty of brake dust build up is to spray each wheel with your wheel cleaner before applying this product, then spray this over the top covering both wheel and tire as it will increase the dwell time of your wheel cleaner making wheel cleaning a lot easier. I’ve used about 20L of this so far on a number of vehicles and it has always performed well. Half a litre is usually enough to cover a medium sized car, so 5L does go a long way. It’s also kind to any pre applied waxes or treatment on the bodywork and will not strip or thin these out.

The best snow foam. It is not thick, but is effective. You can see the dirt being dragged off the car with this foam. I’d highly recommend.

Strong high alkaline pre-wash that really gets rid of the dirt from the car. Maybe not ideal for non ceramic (such as spray on's) coated cars; unless you are like me and look forward to trying the next coating out anyway.

Amazing! I won’t use anything else. I use this with the touchless and only had wash every month now. Game changer in winter months and if you need to get a quick wash in. Highly recommend this stuff. To hardly need any so it lasts ages.

The difference from the Karcher supplied foam is night and day. Goes on brilliantly via the Karcher wand bottle - only used 100ml for all the car and almost went round it twice to use up. Strips the UK winter grime and salts easily - brilliant product.

It doesn’t foam much which I already knew, however, I read and heard that it is one of the best prewashes out there. I used it in my pressure washer foamer before washing and it removed practically all the dirt and dust making for a very thorough wash. Again, this doesn’t foam much but it doesn’t need to. It lifts all the dust and dirt right off the paint. This also makes for a good “in between” washes product. Merely foam on, rinse off and car looks great

Der Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam ist für mich die absolute Nummer eins bei der Fahrzeugvorwäsche. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Schaumreinigern erzeugt er zwar keinen extrem dicken, künstlichen „Rasierschaum“, aber die Reinigungsleistung ist unschlagbar. Er weicht selbst hartnäckigen Straßenschmutz und Insektenreste perfekt auf, sodass sie sich danach einfach berührungslos abspülen lassen. Das schont den Lack maximal vor Kratzern. Der 5-Liter-Kanister ist zudem extrem ergiebig und bietet ein top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Absolutes Profi-Produkt!

Sin duda un producto realmente eficaz

濃度にもよりますが、コンタクトウォッシュ前の事前洗浄能力は非常に高いと思います。 自分の場合は4%〜2%希釈濃度で使用 泡立ちは良いとは言えないがそもそもそういう物であり泡泡である必要は無いため、逆にそれが良いように感じる 雨の後の高速道路走行翌日、50倍希釈で噴霧→すすぎでほとんどの汚れを除去できている。 濃度が濃いとすすいだだけでは表面にアルカリ成分の張り付きが多い印象。

Utilisé avec canon à mousse de 1,5L : 250ml de produit + 1,25l d'eau -La mousse est homogène avec un canon à mousse standard + karcher K4 + pistolet tool daily trouvé sur amazon -cette quantité permet de nettoyer presque 2 voitures. Néanmoins, comme la mousse sèche relativement vite je préfère utiliser le surplus pour refaire un deuxième passage et bien charger au niveau des jantes. -Testé pour l'instant une fois sur 3 voitures : passage de la mousse - attente de 10 minutes - rinçage pression et j'ai laissé sécher sans aucune intervention manuelle. (A l'ombre surtout pas au soleil) -les 3 voitures sont ressorties brillantes et j'étais très surpris surtout par le manque de traces au niveau des vitres. Fonctionne très bien sur les jantes . Néanmoins une des 3 voitures était très sale avec des tâches incrustées, bien qu'elle soit ressortie propre un petit frottage manuel a été nécessaire au niveau des incrustations de longue date, ce qui est normal de mon point de vue.
